"OTHER BRAND" - RUNNING shoe thread - asics, saucony, new balance, hoka one one, adidas, reebok, brooks, altra, skechers, etc...

Same -- having a hard time picking something, but $86 hard to pass up especially now that I'm less inclined to pick up another pair of Rebel V2 after that debacle earlier.

yah i might just get the blk/wht or the grey pair as beaters since saucony also sent me an extra 10% off code so why not  thats how they get you

^ ^ ^

nice, they have the vizipro cw, its more expensive but i like it more

if you guys haven’t purchased yet, applying code BGR50 will stack with the current promo on saucony

essentially you’ll get 50% off and an additional 40% off of that.

got myself a pair of triumphs for $55 after ship/tax. shipping is free on orders over $70 so wish i saw that to add a pair of speeds for like $60

illustrayt illustrayt think now is the time for you to pull the trigger on those speeds

rfx45 rfx45 super deal but i copped 3 pairs of icons awhile back so i’m on hold until the 3’s drop—i wait for a shoe/cw i like then double or triple up for 12-18 months use. just how i roll.

Damn wish I saw this earlier before I bought this morning.

^ ^ ^

you can probably contact them and ask for a price adjustment

i havent placed an order but it looks like the code has expired or they caught on and deaded it

damn

Saw these while browsing the Saucony sale:

Saucony with the A1 colorblocking/creativity yet again! I wouldn't scoop them up, but I definitely appreciate Saucony's creativity with this cw!

Fleet Feet /Jackrabbit had massive clearance sale.

Grabbed my girl a fresh pair of invincible for $50 minus $15 credit and got myself Speed 2 for $50. Gonna return the Saucony online order.

They had plenty of endorphin pro’s for $50 but I plan on grabbing the Metaspeed sky+ and adios pro 3 soon so no need for another carbon plated shoe in rotation.

Just scooped up the Noodles! I had them in my cart since the sale started, and today, Saucony sent over an additional 15% off. That was CLINCHER! Grand total was ~$94 shipped. Also stacked that with Rakuten's 4% CB.

Anyone have thoughts as to the most accommodating super shoe for easier paces? I’m embarking on a marathon training block which means running in them at a pace far easier than I’m used to, and hopefully their efficiency translates even at those slower paces. I have the Metaspeed Sky, Deviate Elite and Alphafly as candidates for long marathon paced runs, I’m not so sure I can control myself in the Vaporfly or Adios Pro🤣 Also, really really don’t enjoy the RC Elite v2

I would say either the ESpeed, EPro or the Hyperion Elite 2. They don’t feel as aggressive as the MSky, VFN or AF, IMO.

endorphin speed all the way. only shoe where i feel no matter your pace, they feel great

Good call on the Speeds guys, the nylon plate should make easier paces more accommodating. The Deviate Elite has felt really good on my warmup and cooldown blocks too and has a less intense rocker geometry so that’s an early favorite of my contenders. I had some slight ankle soreness after a 12 miler in the Speed 2’s which has made me wary of longer efforts in them, but seeing the 3’s upgraded stability should make them far better for a longer haul

Saucony really KILLED it with the cws for the ESpeed 2s and EPro2s! I honestly bought a couple of them solely based on the strength of the cws. :emoji_innocent: I'm really looking forward to the new colorways/concepts that they in store for the Speed3s and Pro3s!
