One of my favorite actors, Oscar Issac, has been Cast as Pablo Escobar for director Brad Furman and his Black List script from Matt Aldrich. The films is being described as ”the Latino Godfather“ and a cross between the classic mob film and a war picture, with it containing “the story of his family, the structure of his enterprise, and his rise.” Production kicks off this fall.
queens blvd was so damn good, though, that was the problem. son hit an eight run homerun with that one.
James Spader is at his best when he plays dark/evil baddies (Less Than Zero, Pretty In Pink, 2 Days In The Valley). This show looks interesting. It really grabbed me when the rookie profiler wanted info from Spader's character to save her husband.
dude was an artisteHis follow up work as Wally Balls was high quality though ... if you're into that sort of thing...
They just couldn't let Vince take that long-lasting L.
Wasn't it Scorcese to the rescue?
Vinnie Chase falling for a porn star who was going to gangbangs for brunch was sort of an odd move.
My favorite Entourage scene will always be Ari going into the building with a paintball gun and firing everybody. Not a soul on Earth doesn't want that 5 minutes of freedom to do something like that and not go to jail.
