I finished Boardwalk Empire season 3 yesterday.

That irish dude dun came up and came crashing down.

I really like how they set the stage for season 4. I'm looking forward to how Nucky tricks Rosstein. I'm assuming that Rosstein also has some trick up his sleeve. Since they've kept reiterrating "I don't take bets that I can't win."

Just when I thought margret would be gone, nucky goes back to her. Everytime I see her story being told, I start phasing out.

Chalky's place that he wants built is going to breed some deaths and I wonder who.

Sin City is the best movie to watch on shrooms.

The chick with the bandana in Django is the same lady from Death Proof who was Uma's stunt double in the Kill Bill films, so I can kind of see how you thought that was her.

Watched Cabin in the Woods tonight, definitely not what you think it's going to be at all but I enjoyed it.

On season 3 of Heroes now. First season was fantastic and just so well done, should have stopped there. 2nd season definitely dropped off but was still watchable in its own way, maybe my love of Kristen Bell and Dania Ramirez has me a little bias. However, these first couple episodes of season 3 are a train wreck. There is just way too much going on with stupid story lines and even dumber characters. Seems like the writers threw a bunch of **** at a wall and whatever stuck, they threw in. Nice to see Marlo and Bubbles in a different show though

I never saw six feet so no. Those first few of seasons of 24 were so freaking tense and epic.

Saw half of Ray last night, liked Jamie's performance and watched Roxky in its entirety for the first time. Awesome movie.

24 def takes some time to get through since its so long, but it's sooooo worth it. When I rewatched it a few weeks ago I was legit sad when it was over because it was such a great show in its prime.

I turned off 24 something during the second season when I saw a chase scene & Jack Bauer yelled out, "In the name of the President of the United States, I order you to stop". If I were that bad guy, I would've stopped right there & shot Bauer in the face for saying that stupid ish. Never bothered watching that show again.


Some studio exec OK'd Men in Black 4...

The box office success of Mission Impossible 4 kinda surprised me despite being a solid action flick. With the lack luster box office success of Jack Reacher & Oblivion (despite being solid movies too), is it time for studios to stop bank rolling Cruise in block buster movies? Rock of Ages flopped too...

Speaking of Tarartino & the connects to his movies, here's another one I don't remember seeing in this thread... BTW, I would've loved seeing a Vega brothers movie with Madsen & Travolta with Jackson reprising Jules in a prequel kinda of movie... That would've been epic.

Someone also told me the female cab driver was from a movie he helped produced called Curdled. I think Tarantino's & Clooney's character in From Dusk Till Dawn is in that movie too.

I legit wanna jack that continuity in my own works and call it an homage to Tarantino. I just find it really cool that like someone else said, every film of his falls into his own universe and it's all connected his way.

Mark Duplass rounds out four leads in Togetherness, HBO’s single-camera comedy pilot written, directed and executive produced by Duplass and his brother Jay Duplass. Mark Duplass, who is a known actor, originally was not attached to star in the project as he is pretty busy in front of the camera in TV. He stars on FX’s comedy The League and recurs on Fox’s The Mindy Project. Now he is taking on a lead in Togetherness as a regular while continuing on The League. Togetherness, which stars Amanda Peet, Mark Duplass, Melanie Lynskey and Steve Zissis, follows two couples living under the same roof who struggle to keep their relationships alive while pursuing their individual dreams. The foursome consists of Tina Morris (Peet) who relocates from Houston to Los Angeles and moves in with her sister Michelle Pierson (Lynskey) and her husband Brett (Duplass). What a strange movie. I didn't understand the politics of it when I was little so it felt like a completely different movie. I liked it a lot. Great cast. Even Halle berry was good.

I have a hard time seeing a movie like that being made now. Or it wouldn't have as good a cast. It would be independent. Very curious to see how much money it made. I remember loving the single with pras and ODB haha

2013 - The Year of The Rock . He's a major character in 3 movies that will still be playing in theaters this month: GI Joe, Pain & Gain, and Fast & Furious 6.

Anthony Mackie was solid as always, played the dumb guy extremely well. The Rock: "Give me the code. I'm ready." He actually was LEGITIMATELY funny in this movie. Enjoyed that, he's been overrated for no reason and I actually think he earned the hell out of a role for once.

Mark Wahlberg with a gut I guess you can't get that big w/o adding something to that part of your body but that just made me laugh. Tony Shaloub was annoying, but that was the point. The chick...

Never had seen her before, but...

Movie was what I expected it to be. Will never see it again most likely, but Bay didn't absolutely nosedive on this one. Interesting story, too long, but not a total waste of time.
