Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Really? After 2? My expectations for it are actually pretty low.
After 2 especially. I think 2 was just a mess and 3 will fix everything

This is what they want you to think.

Cha ching.

2 was the same exact movie. And I assume 3 will be quite similar. Hope I'm wrong. The pictures were easily the best part of 2

3 is not going to follow the same format as the first two in terms of them retracing the steps of the previous night, but I still have a feeling it's going to seem like the same thing over again.

Watching the Fab 5 documentary again... SO GOOD.

Mind just got blown looking at the "3 Ninjas" Wikipedia. :eek

There was 3 ninjas, 3 ninjas kick back, and 3 ninjas knuckle up (and the 4th crap :lol )

Anyways, the characters in the first and third were the same but not in the second. That was always weird to me growing up and I just found out that the first and third were filmed in order but due to legal or something the knuckle up wasn't released until 3 years after it was shot.

That's why the characters weren't the same. All sense is made. :hat

These movies had doing all sorts of karate moves and wildin out in my living room. I always wanted to be able to throw one of those ninja smoke bombs and disappear. I'd wrap little bits of paper towel and fill them with baby powder and throw them lol. Messes were made :rollin

I was just in tan and someone brought up ninjas.

I wikied ninja and I saw that Hattori Hanzo was an actual person.

I browsed through the wiki further and I saw that Jiraya is a famous ninja who also summons toads and fights a big snake JUST like in Naruto.

Intradasting.

^here's something cool from kill bill since you just watched it.

Johnny Mo and Pai Mei are played by the same actor

as well as  the Sheriff and Esteban

Yeah at this point I'm more and more thinking Sarah is the OG give things hinted at and mentioned so far.

:lol @ the American dread head clone being the one down for the lesbianism. That upcoming storyline with this neolution guy seems extra weird.

I still think Alison's husband is lying. It almost fooled me with his excuse but that phone call he made while burning those papers doesn't make sense unless he held back one more secret that he was also smashing the chick he exchanged letters with.

Like that Vic got messed up but I don't like Paul either, looking forward to his death.

All that stuff in manga is based off real stuff most times as far as names, locations, and important ppl go. Mangaka do their research. Not surprised QT put in work to bring some credibility to his art.

No different than a character saying their ancestor is Miyamoto Musashi and stuff along those lines.

He's also the same sheriff in many other Tarantino movies
So basically every character that I see in a QT film has probably been another character in another QT film?

When I first watched Pulp Fiction, I didn't know that vega's "date" was beatrice in kill bill.

But at that time, I had never seen kill bill.

IM3 was really good. the movie was solid start to finish.

I agree. a few twist threw me off and that was good because movies nowadays are so predictable. dare i say i liked this one better than IM1 but I wont go that far.

holy **** the star trek into darkness 3d trailer wow that almost made me drool :eek

I hope the 3d is like that in the full movie reminded me of star wars and the millennium falcon... god god if star wars looks like that jesus... :{ gonna make me wonder what could have been for the prequels

ya, QT has made all his movies into his own universe where everyone is connected somehow or even related. and he picks the same actors too.

the Recurring collaborators section in his Wiki should say enough

Thanks, that chart is really helpful!

As expected Sam J is the most reccuring actor in QT's films.
