Heroes. :{

Such potential. Such promise. Such a waste.

Can't believe they screwed that up.

I had just gotten Netflix and Heroes was like the first thing I actually streamed. I remember even running out of streaming hours and had to wait a few days until it reset the next month to finish season 1. Like CP said though they had laid out such a great show. Was Peter really special? Save the cheerleader save the world. Sylar. Then the finale happened and was pretty big letdown. Season 2 :x . Hiro :x Parkman :x It never recovered.

I think it was cuz their most talented writer, Bryan Fuller, left to make Pushing Daisies, and Tim Kring had no clue. He thought he was making a comic book.

The shame was, I could tell 2 eps in that s2 was gonna suck, but I got everyone I knew onto it, so now what? :{ :lol

I know a guy who wrote for Heroes. Maybe I'll ask him why it started to suck. He writes for Nikita now.

That'd be cool.

I feel like they liked Zachary Quinto too much to let Sylar die and go, like they should've at the end of the first season. Same with Masi Oka...Hiro had a great story and was a great character for a season, but after that...his power was always too much to have to write around. He was just a walking plot hole and they wouldn't let go of him. Won't even mention what they did with Nathan. :{

Like...they had a 'letting anyone leave or die' problem. :lol

And every time they kept someone past when their story ended, things got complicated and dumb. Bad guys turn into good guys, good guys into bad guys, everyone's got a secret, then they all switch back and reveal everything and keep it trucking. The show never had consequences. Big things would happen, then everyone reset. I mean...that's basically a comic book...or a soap opera.

It'd probably be too specifc, but it felt like they were building up to having Linderman be the big bad guy, and going into the last generation that made everything the way it was, with Peter's mom and Claire's dad and that old black guy and Linderman, but instead they killed Linderman and gave us Adam and more feudal Japan than anyone ever wanted on TV ever.

I guess somewhere in there was a question? :lol

LOL. I'll see if I can distill a question or 2 out of that and ask him next time I see him.

Maybe in a way Friday Night Lights. I don't particularly know how they planned the Landry plot originally, but it was just bizarre from the get-go.

if your not watching hannibal on nbc GO NAO
if I don't go out tonight I plan to watch that +this week's Americans+all the NBC shows from last night........

Will Hannibal's true nature be revealed to Graham this season???

Also, how do you guys think Dancy is doing as an american character?

Got my glass of Highland Park 12 and going to give Amelie a watch then knock out for the night.
This is one of those movies I've been wanting to see for years but just never came around to it

Enjoy it... I was pleased when I finally got around to watching it last year.

And I'll be taking my super late pass because I watched Before Sunrise and Before Sunset this week. Man.... I'm so mad at myself for waiting this long because I LOVED both movies. There's a few movies out there like that, where for whatever reason I hadn't gotten around to watching it and when I finally did I regretted waiting so long. These two definitely fit that category.

Was there honestly any show that the writers strike wasn't brutal to?
LOST managed but after we got what the writers intended to do had they had their usual 20-23 ep season it would have been amazing.

Probably wouldn't have changed the ending/last season though :lol

EDIT

I can't believe I've never seen or even heard of Kicking & Screaming> It's pm TNS now, I thought I was up on the Will Ferrell comedy flicks, don't know how this one aint show up on my radar back then.

Okay so far, anybody who watched can rate it?

@kspar

Spartacus is one of the best shows that I've watched.

5/5

You are making a ridiculous decision of deciding to stop watching it because of its minimal gay sex scenes.
if your not watching hannibal on nbc GO NAO

show is superb
Wait like a season before hyping up a show.

Damn it, now Seven Pounds is on.....

FX is on a tear jerking tear tonight
