Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

How you find that old Star 80, Tracey Thurmon post from a few months back? You searchin for those movies in here????

Rosemary's Baby (my personal GOAT)
Halloween
Alien
Silence of the Lambs
1. On Paramount & hoopla. *added to watch*
2. Idunno. Just doesn't seem appealing. 😬
3. Seen it. Love it.
4. Seen it. LOVE it.
The Shining, Night of the Living Dead, Texas Chain Saw Massacre
I have a working knowledge of all of these, and I just have absolutely no interest whatsoever.
Hitchcock's filmography
I need to expand my Hitchcock experience, (and by 'expand', I mean 'begin'). I just need to know which ones are the most psychologically complex/troubled.
If you don't mind blood, check out stuff from Dario Argento in the 70s. Giallo - idk what the actual translation is  but basically they are thrillers with a bunch of blood. Deep Red, Suspiria, and Opera are all considered classic, with my favorite being Suspiria.
I don't mind gore if it's a driving force to the overall plot, like Saw and Hobo With A Shotgun.
But gore just to have gore, like House of a 1000 Corpses? Waste of my time, honestly.
The Vanishing 1988
Star 80
Not available to me but *added to search list*.
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer
The Bad Seed 1956 (backup)
Seen both, from you. 🔥
Henry was meh.
Tne Bad Seed was awesome.

Upon finishing, please let the thread know: is this a Christmas movie?
For absolutely no reason there’s Christmas stuff going on in it. So yes, I mean no.

There was a Christmas Snowman cartoon on when Stallone was eating cold pizza (cutting a tiny slice off one piece of cold pizza and eating it with a fork-weird), so yes a Christmas movie, I mean no.

Ska, Kevin Cleveland was Hitchcock heavy in this thread early. I think I even list it in the table of contents.

From what I remember, North by Northwest, Rear Window, Rope, The Birds, Strangers on a Train were the ones that grabbed me.

Finished smile 2.

Good horror film. Glad horror is doing well these last couple years especially last year. I’m liking the main characters never surviving :lol

Wolf man last Friday. It was cool. Nothing special. Invisible man was way better.

B Bronson I started playing Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic on Nintendo switch recently. I remember playing it on original Xbox around the time Revenge of the Sith came out.

Anyways, it gave me a hankering to watch Phantom Menace again. It’s been a WHILE. I actually got teary eyed at the opening dialogue scrolling scene. It brought me straight back to watching it on release day with my dad. We waited in a line that wrapped completely around the theater.

Just wanted to share that with a prequel enthusiast such as yourself. Love ya bud 🤙

Recent viewing. Primarily because of the beautiful Brenda Song ❤️

Guy who played the villain was awful though. Could tell he was up to no good as soon as you seen his jerkoff face

Wolfman was so lame to me. They made no attempts to attach you to any of the characters. Father/son dynamic had little emotion and they never explained anything about the so called wolf man or what caused the condition. It felt like something out of the Matrix when they showed what things looked like to the Wolf. Waste of a role for Julia Garner. Starting to wonder if she should just stick to shows as I didn't care for the Royal Hotel either.
