I mean the movie was not a black trauma movie for the sake of black trauma. It's based on real events.Just watched 12 years a slave for the first time. On the one hand, it was very well made. Outstanding acting performances, great cinematography, great score, Pitt gawd. But on the other hand, I hated this movie.
black trauma movies are boring as hell man. It played out EXACTLY how I expected it to. I’m good on “those” movies for the next 8 years.
