Anyone watch the Goldbergs? I've become a fan of this show. The karate episode with the talent show was gold.
IMO, Cloud Atlas is a very good, ambitious film. I know it's a hit or miss for a lot of people, but I loved it. One of the better Sci-fi films I've seen in a long while.elysium, the to do list, or the way way back? which should i rent?
also is cloud atlas any good?
I would say Vincent (Pacino), just because he got Neil (De Niro) to start talking about their dreams. Haven't seen that scene is a while, but I still think I can quote their exchange verbatim.Simmons and Peter Berg were talking about the restaurant scene in Heat on their most recent podcast.... they were trying to figure out who "won" that scene. As in if you HAD to pick one, which would you choose? They didn't really come to a conclusion.
It's almost as neck-and-neck as you can get to be honest. I'd say Pacino gets a slight edge.
FYI... Al Pacino's courtroom speech in A Scent of a Woman is one of the greatest three minutes I have ever seen.
Another "Who stole the scene?" debate, how about Leo and Damon on the roof at the end of The Departed?
One of my favorite shows right now. Probably just because of the nostalgia since I'm an 80's baby, which I'm always a sucker for. Only complaint is that even though I love me some Hayley Orrantia, she is so out of place. I don't even think the creator of the show had a sister, but I guess they just had to throw her in there for demographic reasons.Anyone watch the Goldbergs? I've become a fan of this show. American Hustle is in my top 5 of 2013, maybe even top 3. So damn good. I count 15 Oscar nominations
