Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

It's also about the nature of the business and how casting gets done. You know people, put in your dues, whatever, and then you get the parts. Agron can still play 17 as well.. so that didn't hurt. Maggie Grace was pushing it for sure, though.

I'm still hoping she gets a bigger part in a legit blockbuster or something. Let her play the main girl/woman and really get attention. It's not like she's a future Oscar winner who needs to be discovered or anything, I just like her :lol

Watched it for the first time tonight. Good flick. You're right - that finale got kind of emotional. Will watch again.

This looks better than the previous iteration, but I guess that's not Saiyan much... :rolleyes

The females can do it cuz they still look young (mainly the ones with small boobs).

I watched that Road Trip movie last night with Tom Green and it hit me how Breckin Myer or w/e the dude's name from Franklin & Bash didn't really look like a college student to me :lol

Amy Smart though :smokin

Am I missing something or was Die Another Day suppose to be that bad. I mean did I just kinda blank out how bad this Pierce Bond movie was?

Putting aside Halle, son was out there para-surfing in the Arctic between ice glaciers with that horrible cgi, the invisible car, and somehow it was still so 007 :smokin

:{ :lol

They were def out of ideas by then. Daniel Craig's team saved the **** outta that franchise. Goldeneye was the only Brosnan worth a damn and that had more to do with the N64 game than anything. :hat

Goldeneye was legitimately good

The World is Not Enough was pretty good if you can forgive them casting Denise Richards as a nuclear scientist

Die Another Day was ridiculous but at least more entertaining than Tomorrow Never Dies

As far as the Craig ones

Casino Royale > Skyfall >>>> Quantum

just watch after earth. I thought it was decent, nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible as well. What were people expecting, seriously? If you take the movie for what it is, average actors with an average director, you get an average movie.

Hardy was in it against Craig, Craig won. Bond people have gone back for their Bond before. Brosnan was passed over for Dalton, then years later they came back for him.

Could happen again, and I would LOVE Hardy to get a shot. He would be epic.

Tom Hardy would be a great 007.

I really want a Tarantino-directed Bond film.

With Michael Fassbender as the villain.

For you martial arts fans. "The Protector 2" Nice to see Tony Jaa back and also has the chick from Chocolate in it. :hat

I actually think the reverse. Fassbender as Bond with Hardy as the villain. Hardy is seems a little too rough & tumble 'round the edges while Fassbender is a little more elegant but able to throw down. Hardy is a great actor so maybe he could indeed pull it off.

The Hardy as Bond idea seems to have picked up steam within the last month of so. Interested. There was even a story that said Hardy would only play Bond if Christopher Nolan would direct (:smokin @ that thought).

My favorite Bond films of all time in no particular order - Gold Finger, Casino Royale, From Russia With Love, You Only Live Twice, Thunderball, & Skyfall.

All the Bond songs from Dr. No to Skyfall.

Fassbender should be bond.. His magneto movie was basically his audition tape, with a little shame thrown in

Another trailer for Osage County. Has a phenomenal cast...

Sam Shepard hasn't been in enough movies... I swear he's looked slightly over middle aged forever...

Yet another action film from Jason Statham but this time with NT's favorite man crush James Franco... Man, they really made Kate Bosworth & Winona Ryder look rough... Interesting enough, the script was written by Sylvester Stallone with Chuck Logan who wrote the novel the movie is based on...

I'm seeing this solely on the fact it has Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep

I can't wait for HBO's True Detective

it looks like it's going to be

and it's featuring my favorite actor Woody Harrelson
