Hare 7’s were remastered in 2015, right. Along with the Boudreaux?

I passed on the Hare 7 since my CDP was still good. Just a tad yellow on the toe bumper area.

They were but had a completely different shape and mold. It was more like 7s from 2011-2015. The Bordeaux shape was more in line with the 92. Many of the hares also had awful craftsmanship.

I grew to greatly dislike the 2012 pair. I was crazy about em when I first got them but the basketball laces, glossy peaks and the fact that they were one color of some weird unbuckle is off putting. They’re better than the ‘09 DMP though...

Cant speak for everyone else.. but there was nothing inferior about the Retro +'s that I listed (IMO of course). Closest thing would be the lack of NA on the back but it doesnt look like JB is giving us that on anything outside of OG colorways.

Those 09 tomato paste travesties were depressing. Banana shape, dark red color

I don’t count those pieces of trash. I remember copping at footlocker walking to the car feeling like I got punched in the stomach, like the feeling when you lose your wallet.

Walked back in and returned them within 20 minuets. That shoe in it’s TRUE form is a grail for me.

Albeit they weren’t super clear, but the reason I say translucent was because they turned yellow. Haven’t seen smoked soles turn yellow. (Could be wrong) I had 2 pairs a few years back. The ‘03 joints had more of a smoke grey. (To me at least). And they changed the CF color as well.

I cannot speak for the 02 pair. But the only difference between the 09 and the 2012 pair being the grey contrast, they feel they exact same in comfort. Exact. 09 DMPs are solid. The most comfortable retro I wear regularly. I still want a true release without glossy peaks, and a fat 23 on the back. The retros put the 23 on a small diet. As far as Cardinals go, I have the 06. But the reverse color scheme with the back tab and the red inside the collars still is off from the originals. The 2011 got the tab right at least, but I passed on those. Wish I didnt honestly.

The 2012 Charcoal 7 looks nice but is flimsy just like the 2015 Bordeaux. I would agree that the 09' has the best comfort and imo the best shape and overall quality of the 3 retros. I miss my 02's but I take those second and 2012 being last. I know OG 7's didn't have silver or gold aglets but I love that on retros, and the oval laces on 02's.
