If he wanted to do a song with someone "hot", why not Kendrick, Cole etc?

Not sure why he's always co-signing these bums (Keef, Chainz etc.).

If that's supposed to be "what we need", I'll pass.

I could understand keef cuz he from Chicago and since chainz is good music but thug? Lord why, **** is ridiculous

Whatever Chainz relationship is with GOOD is part of the co-sign.

Kanye was showing that dude love since the T.R.U. Realigion mixtape.

Surely there are other artists in Chicago he could work with. Chance, Vic Mensa etc.

Probably more of a juxtaposition thing. He doesn't want to make songs with people that are like his sons. He's always kind of gone for that, in some way. He bragged about it on the Get By Remix.

I feel like 'Ye doesn't collaborate with Kendrick, Cole, etc. because they're not necessarily pushing the sonic boundaries, they're just really good rappers. Dudes like TY$, Keef, etc., for better or worse, are making unique music and that's what 'Ye always gravitated towards.

Who would've ever thought Ty Dolla and Paul McCartney would EVER be on a song together? It's just something amazing/crazy about that. In a way I guess that's what makes music, music.

Gave the song a little time to settle with me. All I can say is beautiful, one of my favorites by him

This sounds great, but is just terrible reasoning :lol

We really need to stop window dressing terrible music as "unique".

As if that's some kind of justification for it.

I like Ty. I don't put him in that category.

I think it's more so a desire to keep that connection to whatever the kids find hot than him actually liking it.

If Lil Jojo had popped instead of Chief Keef....im 100% certain we would have seen a Kanye West / Lil Jojo song.

Ye had Keef, King Louie on Yeezus, some other Chi artists too I believe

Keef already had a buzz before Kanye outside of Chicago...

Whenever Ye features an artist I can't stand, it works out some how. When I see Keef or 2 Chainz on a track I cringe before I even listen.

"Hot" may not always mean good, I guess. Maybe trending would be a better word.
its interesting that he never worked with them when you think about how many people he's collabed with.

dont ever question his features.
Agree -- You also can't tell from a tracklisting how he will use the feature (e.g. Paul McCartney on Only One, him only using Jeezy adlibs on Can't Tell Me Nothing

)

One feature that I'm still hopeful for is a song with The Weeknd, I feel like they would mesh well on a track
