I'm new to this thread and I literally just bought Yeezus a few minutes ago on Itunes, I listened to half of the album and I'm honestly disappointed, anyone feel the same or am I tripping or I just need to finish the album?  I guess my attitude toward the album will change once I repeatedly listen to it hopefully

I bought it to listen to it bro, I don't download leak songs from artist I expect to hear good music from (no pun intended)
The album is literally on YouTube to listen to in full.....from Kanye.
That's not his account. Someone just changed their display name to Kanye West and uploaded it lol.

It picks up after the second half. The first half is kinda iffy on the first listen because On Site is kinda weird and you've likely already heard New Slaves and Black Skinhead.

I just finished the album and you're right, it did pick up towards the end. This album gave me a bad first impression but I guess it'll grow on me ya know

I feel like this is the Techno/Rave version of 808's

Ye has made it a tradition to step out the box between hip hop albums....

Gotta respect it because it will still sell....

aids can grow on you as well.

After playing through this album multiple times I can officially say that I love it. It's not his best album, but it is still a great album nonetheless. It is just pleasing to the ears regardless of the sub-par lyrics, all the songs are just so different from what's currently out now and, dare I say it, much better.

Looks like this album just got a 9.5 from Pitchfork as well, looks like a lot of opinions are about to change (semi-srs) :lol

This album will be a classic soon. The production is on point.

Y'all really made it seem like this album was trash.

I can dig it from track 1-10.

It's a love/hate album.

The main reason a lot of people are disappointed because they go into the album with what THEY want to hear in mind. You've already built a sound to it that you want, the kind of lyrics you want, and how your going to compare it to every other rap album. YOU, that's usually where the let down happens
