Im exicited for this. Last console i got was the 360. Stop really playing years ago. At this point its collecting dust. Want to get back into playing with my son. Can I play all my old games on this? Is this game pass the new xbox live? Thanks

I don't think every single old game will be backwards compatible but the console will be backwards compatible for a good chunks of games dating back to the original Xbox. The One X/One was able to use the discs so I assume that feature will transfer over but they will for sure digitally.
Gamepass is a $10 subscription that will give you 100+ games to download at will. Xbox Live is a separate service still but Gamepass Ultimate will give you Live+Gamepass+Gamepass access on PC. It's $5 more for Ultimate.

I'll end up regretting it but 2k21 I'm skipping current gen and probably getting next gen.
Destiny is a lock.
I still need to see what current gen purchases of mine are going to transfer over for free to next gen edition.
This is probably the weakest day 1 release game lineup between both consoles yet. Only thing on PS i'd be interested in is the Miles Morales Spiderman game but it's not something I gotta have now.

Gamepass adds and rotates games relatively frequently too. If you haven’t played anything this gen of gaming I think you’d be set with Gamepass for a hot minute without needing to buy a new game.
They get titles as big as Red Dead Redemption 2 and every Microsoft franchise will be on there at all times so all Halo/Gears/Forza
