The Ohio cheerleader who is facing charges including aggravated murder and involuntary manslaughter for allegedly burying her newborn daughter in the backyard last May has been freely roaming around town for the past month, leaving some residents in a rage.

Brooke 'Skylar' Richardson was put on modified house arrest last month, with the judge ruling she would have a curfew of 9pm through 7am and be supervised via GPS monitoring and random home visits

That was shocking news to one woman, who saw Richardson just two days later and wrote: 'My husband and I saw the teenage girl from Carlisle who killed and buried her own baby. She was at the restaurant we were at, talking on her iPhone. How is someone who is awaiting trial for aggravated murder not in jail?!'

A few days later a woman snapped her at a McDonald's drive thru, and she has also been seen playing with her dog outside her home.

SANFORD, Fla. — The ex-neighborhood watch volunteer who killed a black teen in Florida in 2012 says he's $2.5 million in debt and has no income.

George Zimmerman filed paperwork detailing his financial state as he fights a misdemeanor stalking charge.

The Orlando Sentinel a public defender filed a not-guilty plea for Zimmerman and a request for a jury trial.

Zimmerman is accused of sending threatening messages to private investigator Dennis Warren. Warren had contacted Zimmerman about a documentary series on the slain Trayvon Martin that's being produced by rapper Jay Z. A sheriff's report says Warren received numerous calls and texts from Zimmerman in December.

A judge earlier this month denied Warren's request for a restraining order against Zimmerman.

Zimmerman killed Martin in 2012. He was acquitted of criminal charges.

Rachel Dolezal, Who Posed as Black, Accused of Welfare Fraud

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A former NAACP leader in Washington state whose life unraveled after she was outed as a white woman pretending to be black has been charged with welfare fraud.

Rachel Dolezal, who legally changed her name to Nkechi Diallo in 2016, was charged this week with theft by welfare fraud, perjury and false verification for public assistance, Spokane news station KHQ-TV reported Thursday.

She illegally received $8,747 in food assistance and $100 in child care assistance from August 2015 through November 2017, court documents said.

An investigation started in March 2017 when a Washington state investigator received information that Diallo had written a book. The investigator reviewed Diallo’s records and found that she had been reporting her income as usually less than $500 per month, court documents said.

A subpoena for her self-employment records, which included copies of her bank statements, showed Diallo had deposited nearly $84,000 into her bank account between August 2015 and September 2017, without reporting it to the Department of Social and Health Services.

The money came from authoring her memoir, “In Full Color,” speaking engagements, soap making, doll making, and the sale of her art, according to the case file.

Diallo did report a “change of circumstance” to the state agency, saying she did a one-time job in October 2017 worth $20,000, court documents said.

The former civil rights activist told investigators she “fully disclosed her information” and declined to answer further questions, the documents said.

She has said previously that she grew up near Troy, Montana, with religious parents and that she began to change her perspective as a teenager, after her parents adopted four black children. She decided to become publicly black years later, after a divorce.

The ruse worked for years until 2015, when her parents, with whom she has long feuded, told reporters that their daughter was born white but was presenting herself as a black activist in the Spokane region.

The story became an international sensation, and she was fired as head of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP and kicked off a police ombudsman commission. She also lost her job teaching African studies at Eastern Washington University.

Student Sues School Over Suspension for 'Trump Border Wall Construction Co.' T-Shirt

An Oregon high school student says his First Amendment rights were violated when he was suspended for wearing a "Donald J. Trump Border Wall Construction Co." T-shirt to school.

Addison Barnes,18, wore the shirt to Liberty High school on Jan. 19 for a scheduled discussion on immigration issues in his "People and Politics" class, according to a complaint filed May 18 in U.S. District Court.

Barnes was told his T-shirt, which also featured the words, "The wall just got 10 feet higher," had offended at least one teacher and one student, at which point he covered it up.

"I thought to myself, 'You know this isn't right, this is my First Amendment right to be able to wear this shirt,'" Barnes told KGW-TV, Portland, Ore. "So I took off the jacket and the assistant principal had seen that and sent for a security guard to escort me out of class."

Barnes was then asked to either remove the shirt or leave the school. He chose to leave, and the departure was marked as a suspension.

"If somebody else disagrees with me politically, I think they should be able to express their viewpoints just as I should be able to express my viewpoints in school," Barnes told KPTV.

Liberty High School’s Parent-Student Handbook doesn't address political clothing, KPTV reported. But Hillsboro School District’s Standards of Student Conduct says, "Clothing decorated or marked with illustrations, words, or phrases that are disruptive or potentially disruptive, and/or that promote superiority of one group over another is not permitted."

"He was told he offended them but that's a far cry from being disruptive and it is certainly a far cry from violating school policy, let alone what is clearly First Amendment free speech law," said Barnes attorney Mike McLane.

"The school clearly crossed the line," ACLU Oregon Legal Director Mat dos Santos told KGW-TV. "This shirt is mean spirited, but it isn't a 'disturbance' under First Amendment case law."

Trump's border wall has been the controversial symbol of his tough immigration policies since he launched his presidential campaign.

"It is disappointing that Liberty High School decided to censor the student instead of inviting the student body to discuss immigration, the freedom of speech, and the impacts of xenophobic rhetoric," dos Santos said. "Schools have a responsibility to teach our youth how to engage in thoughtful conversations about difficult and potentially offensive subject matters. Censorship doesn’t work and often just elevates the subject the government is trying to silence."

The day before investigators said Steven Wiggins shot and killed Baker, his girlfriend called 911, accusing him of slapping her, pulling her hair and putting a gun to her head.

But it was what happened on July 26, 2016, at the Fairview Inn in Fairview, TN, that first indicated his potential for violence.

The affidavit from that day reads that Dickson County Sheriff’s deputies were at the inn investigating another case when they were alerted to Wiggins holding a knife while keeping his girlfriend in the corner of a room.

While they were able to coax Wiggins to drop the knife, the affidavit reads Fairview officer arrived and were unable to convince him to put his hands behind his back.

After he refused to comply, police shot Wiggins with the Taser, but he then pulled the barbs from his chest and charged the officers.

When they wrestled him to the ground, they shot him again with the Taser, but when he was placed in the officer’s vehicle, police say he became combative again and more officers had to be called.

Wiggins later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and false imprisonment, he then failed to report to police several times and warrants were issued for his arrest.

Warrants are also out in Dickson County for failure to appear, after being cited in February for being in possession of methamphetamine and unlawful drug possession.

A News4 I-Team evaluation of Wiggins criminal history found him to be convicted of theft, misdemeanor assault, probation violation, vandalism, domestic assault and failure to appear.
