I'll take Monta based on the fact that he leads the whole NBA with points in the paint. Monta is a beast when it comes to scoring in the hole.

Anyone else have an opinion on Martin/Ellis?

I'd take Ellis over Martin

I would take Ellis. Obviously I'm a bit biased, but I think his ability to score in the paint makes him a bit more valuable. Martin is taller and shootsthe 3 more, but I think Ellis is more effective, especially when he's on his game. But I will admit I don't watch the Kings enough to really say I havea solid opinion on Martin (outside of the couple Kings-W's matchups I've seen)

I'll take Martin. He is very quick, but not quicker than Ellis. Is a pretty good outside shooter, can get to the foul line a lot and is a very good FTshooter, and can create his own shot. Dont get me wrong, i love monta, but i think Martin has a couple of more advantages than Ellis. What Ellis has overMartin is quickness, ability to get to the rim, and mid-range jumper.

i'd take monta over martin. even though it's a small sample size, but based on the kings game ive seen...i don't see that killer instinct inmartin. Where as monta is fearless out there and attacks the rim at will

KNBR phone line would explode cuz Warriors fans would want to share their piece of mind with him.
BTW, I would take Monta over Martin as of right now with the roster that wehave. Imo, I believe Monta can develop his game to a higher level than Martin. I see Monta being a better all-star candidate than Martin yr in yr out (barringno major injury) down the road. What I really like about Monta is he's a better creator imo. If he learns to create for others consistently, he'll beon a another level.
