Most of them are not on teams that even qualified. Only team I can think of is Dortmund for Reyna

Listened to Davies' and Jimmy Conrad's Goalazo podcast interview with Pulisic today, who was trying to do some damage control. He said he wanted to play two of the recent friendlies but not the entire Gold Cup, so Poch didn't include him because he wanted one summer roster.

Mans the captain so it's hard to justify him skipping an international summer, especially when it's an opportunity ramp up for the WC.

Pulisic's interview confirmed what had been occurring to me for the last few months. I don't think he and Poch see eye to eye on almost anything. I think Pulisic has the players on his side and they have willingly undertaken to not play for Poch (through various means) at this break / tournament. It's essentially a player mutiny.

Aren't they hurting themselves in the process though? Maybe I'm not as confident in our players' chemistry on the pitch, but they have to be feeling themselves tremendously to pass on the opportunity to ramp up for a rare WC on home soil.

I mean, they can technically say F Poch and still play these matches doing whatever they feel would be best. End of the day, you're playing for the country, not a damn man. This is footy, I just can't fathom how not getting current international reps becomes the best move for players. USSF dropping the ball again, blaming those clowns first and foremost before ever blaming the fellas.

I’ve felt this way the entire tournament but Freeman and Arfsten just aren’t good enough. I appreciate that they’re young and they fit what Poch wants to do in attack but they’re just food defensively on the outside. Arfsten does have some interesting tools as a project but he’s so far away and he’s not that young.

I called my shot with Luna two years ago at the U20 World Cup but this my first time seeing Berhalter.

He’s not perfect but he’s a dog man, I definitely see it.

Agyemang getting a lot of heat from fans but he’s gonna make the World Cup roster just watch.
