**Official USMNT Soccer Thread**

My optimism is slowly coming back. I can't wait to see who starts in his XI in a months time :hat

Poch won't fix everything, but I'm hoping he helps steer USSF in the right direction. I have way higher hopes than when GGG led the fellas, so here's to hoping for the best.

Why wasn't Gio playing?! That's just one of many things wrong with yesterday's match :{

Current home with the glad on the sleeves and collar is dope.

Yeah I’m gonna need that away kit.

May have to get it with the four stars and Rodman nameset too.

Away kit is very sharp. Appreciate the nod to '94 denim stars on the home kit. A good offering for the first time in what seems like a very long drought.

CP10 is getting cooked for not participating in the Gold Cup and rightfully so. Milan are not playing in any Euro competitions next season, so what's the excuse? :{

It's gotta be a nagging injury they're trying to get ahead of. Pulisic is not one of the ones without "heart" as has so often been bandied about. I suspect if he could be in the squad, he would be.

I feel like a lot of the talk of lack of heart is cope from us fans, but I think the Pulisic situation is exactly what both him + his team and U.S. Soccer say it is.

He's played 49 and 50 matches the previous two seasons at Milan. Historically it's been a real struggle for him to play more than 30. He's essentially doubled his output in minutes per season the past two years, and that's just domestic competition.

When a guy who's a decade into a career that's more or less been plagued by nagging injury issues says he feels like he needs rest to get right and recover, I think you have to listen him.

This was the statement from U.S. Soccer.

Let the guy rest, it's totally fine. The automatic bid ensures you're already in the WC, so might as well let your key player(s) recover from their grueling schedules.

Srsly he's done enough to secure a starting spot. Plus give some other guys a chance to get on the roster. We've got some good up and coming wingers, no need to keep them on ice while LeBron is grinding his knees to dust

I agree, this team needs depth and options that you only develop with meaningful playing time. The Thomas Thib model doesn’t work
