Yeah this joint is as nice as I was expecting it to be. Definitely a different sound compared to his other joints, but dude sounds better than ever. Love it.

NT put me on Chaz 2 years ago, "Still Sound" gets continuous play to this day. Might have to check him out when he comes to Atlanta in February.

I've only listened to the album once as a whole and listened to some of the standout tracks about 4-5 times. With that said, it's a great album. As of now, I wouldn't say I like it more than "Causers of This," but at worst, I'd say this is on-par with "Underneath the Pine," maybe a little better and that album was very solid in its own right.

Might listen to the album again tonight or tomorrow at the latest. All things considered, the album didn't disappoint at all and he's shown that he's capable of evolving musically without alienating his fanbase. If he was to stop making music as of now, he would still have an amazing discography. All of his albums have been great.

I was feeling the CDQ version, I just visualized him and the band playing it and through that I vibed with it.

I agree, he keeps adding subtle elements. And most of his songs are littered with samples, it's amazing. I like that I can actually decipher what he's saying too.
