Indie really doesn't mean what it once meant. These dudes go Indy now because everything the label did u can do yourself. That pic last night gave him the biggest buzz he's had since the 40 glocc situation. Games fan base major or indie is gonna buy regardless and his fan base is big enough to sell 200k overall. Only difference now is he cuts the middle man out. The music is speaking for itself tho, a dude brought it in the barbershop and played it and 3 dudes after hearing said they were going to cop. Then the name is a follow up to most peoples favorite game album so he gotta live up to a classic. I think he followed it up perfectly.

But when I told you dudes Game wouldn't be happy with those numbers y'all jumped all over me and told me I had no clue what I'm talking about.

It's not just about money man. I know he's indie and he's profiting heavily off these sales. It's also ego man, most rappers, including game, got egos. These dudes are competitive, whether they admit it or not they see each other's sales and accomplishments.

There's no way Game was genuinely happy about those numbers whether he's indie or not, and it's showing. Dudes trying so damn hard still to push this album.

But I know you dudes too stubborn to apologize or aknowledge the fact that when I mentioned this a few weeks ago you dudes thoight I was trippin.

He's definitely upset with the numbers. Who wouldn't be? He's worked on this project for a couple years now and gave us some of the best music he's ever put out and he hasn't cracked 200k total yet. Besides the one review from SPIN, the album is getting nothing less than 4/5 from most reputable publications and the general consensus is that it is worth the buy. Beyond music being hard to sell if you aren't a big name, hip hop fans are among the worst when it comes to supporting a product. He has millions of followers on Twitter and IG, but a fraction of them actually bought the projects. How are you telling the man his project is fire, but won't part with the bread? If there's an artist I like, I cop the album after I download the illegal link just on the strength of supporting. If a quarter of his followers would have done the same he wouldn't need to go to this extent.

Bruh what are you talking about? You acting like he sold Joe Budden or DJ Khaled numbers 10-15k [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji] as you mention, hip hop sales are the worst, on top of that. Cd sales in general get worse and worse over the years. How you guys think he's upset when he's outselling his last 2 major projects on major label 3 and 4 years ago when cd sells were higher across the board and now he's indie selling more than that (first couple of weeks). Make no sense to me. He's at 205k with sales and streams in 2 and half weeks. Social media followers don't mean ish! 50 has over 10 million and sold 40k first week sales and tapped out around 130k over a year ago. Let alone, he drop a video for every song off the album. Tons of other artist has millions of followers on social media yet don't sell at all (Ludacris, Ciara, 50, Nelly, DJ Khaled etc....)

They're way past the numbers the last 2 did at this point after their releases

And just wondering why would he pull that stunt two weeks after the 2nd disc release and not during the weeks of the 1st and 2nd since some think it's to boost his sales..

No it would be the opposite. Streams should count way more. How many streams equal one sale...so the album is being heard alot more than one actual cd sale
