The EU’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) have found certain chemicals used in coloured tattoo inks can cause "cancer or genetic mutations."


I think there's still a lot of research that needs to be done on ink in the body for sure.

Keep in mind, in the US, tattoo ink is not regulated by the FDA.

In 2016, the Australian government found 49 tattoo ink brands that had false labeling in it's ingredients.

This topic is def something that needs to be opened up more.
