These have officially reached Pigeon dunk levels in NYC.
I won't say all that. Maybe because of the news coverage and amount of people in such a short time span, but Pigeons in my opinion was a higher level. Way more limited and actual fights broke out.
I never understand why so many people line up, knowing they'll be leaving empty handed.
Usually you're right, and those people would be called fools. But in this case, as some have already mentioned, their in-store stock for Nike collabs has always been big. Depending on what time you line up, you can go back in line and get doubles. Only exception were the Flyknits last year, not many pairs were available because production turn around on Flyknits is long.
I bet a large percentage of people lining up don't even know Supreme's stock history with Nike collabs. And from what I was told by a good source with close ties to the NY shop, they pretty much had enough to handle most of that crowd.
