Maybe he was paying attention to the catch more than his feet and listened to the guys upstairs.

Honestly though that extra timeout would not have mattered.

. Even that close Bellichick couldnt believe he caught that

had to challenge it...desperation

If you watch the replays, you can tell his not watching anything but the ball. So it wasnt surprising he challenged since he didnt look at the feet at all.

You could make the arguement that the challenge could/did cost them the game, 3 timeouts with 2 minutes left would have changed the game completely as opposed to 2 timeouts.

Only my two cents.

He had to challenge it, it was a huge play. Plus Eli got them moving fast and was ready to hike it so NE didn't even get a chance to see the replays and decide.

Pats had 1 minute and 1 second left when they got the ball not 2.

Vernon Davis and the 49ers for example were crying they were so happy they won a playoff game

I mean look how happy everyone is we lost; its like the fall of the soviet union. We're a superpower. Only difference is we'll be back next year, and the year after that, and the year after that etc. Giants will probably miss the playoffs next year
