I don't know if anyone has had this issue with 2000 Space Jams but recently I purchased a pair that were DS. After wearing them around the house, this happened. I've tried to wash it off with a toothbrush and detergent but it hasn't helped. I wanted to ask and see if anyone has had this issue and if so how they resolved it.

I have 2 pairs of Jordans that I want to know if I should try to restore them. The 01 Bred I think just need some good cleaning but my Fire Red 3 needs some work. Should I even bother to restore them? Never done nothing like this but I can go back and read everything i need to know and start from there.

any suggestions for white nubuck? it also turned a toe box of my yotr 7's a shade or 2 darker

followed instructions dont know what happened
This is why I recommend warm water and soap.

Maybe you can use Lincoln EZ cleaner to fix that, but that seems pretty difficult to remove.

yea i was recommended lincoln and a chalk bag ....so im gonna get both and see what happens

These are do-able man. I'm going to help you out because I literally just started on a pair of Black/Red 3's last night for my first restore ever.

1.) The leather looks to be in good shape. Just use regular shoe cleaner for that part. I used Jason Markk but soap/water should be good. Whatever you prefer I guess...

2.) Your going to want to use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on any rubber you want to remove dirt from. (White rubber under the elephant print in the front)

3.) Buy 2 bottles of Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint: 1  Fire Red and 1 White ( I bought mine off ebay. The smallest bottle will have more than enough to complete the job)

4.) Buy this tape

to tape off the leather and other parts of the shoe that you might want to be a different color. Taping is the most important part in my opinion. Take your time and do a good job on the taping.

6.) Paint the shoes with as many layers of paint that you feel looks right.

7.) Buy replacement laces or wash the existing ones.

8.) You can clean the inside liner with either the shoe cleaner or just soap water and scrub with a tooth brush.

Thanks, I'll give it a try and will update once I'm finish.

okay, I have these chrome 6s I copped recently.

the seperation you see on the picture is ONLY if i pull on the material.

the previous owner wore them with the air bubble fogged up, however I defogged it over the weekend.
Is it safe to rock these, without cracking/air bubble popping?

If not, what steps do I take to make them wearable.

& is that suede chipping or creasing on the toe box?

Please see pics.

Suede chipping you cannot fix.

The air bubble can be fogged, I don't think it causes it to pop. I wear a pair of 4s with a fogged bubble and nothing has happened. The bubble will fog back up in about a week or so anyway so no use doing to over and over.

Fr the separation you could take the safe route and separate the whole sole/midsole and then reglue it with barge cement or E-6000 glue. So it won't separate any time soon.

Would it be fine if I just put a super small amount of super glue/krazy glue in the seperation? Or should I just give it to a shoe shop.. Rather not do anything myself, I tend to mess things up; if I wear them without doing anything, will they seperate more?

eventually ya they will separate more, but not the end of the world if it doesnt bother you it will probably be a while before the sole actually starts to come off. to the best of my knowledge krazy glue type products wont do anything. if you aren't comfortable re glueing the whole sole, just get some e-6000 like sir charles said and re glue where its starting to separate. clean it out with some water and qtips first, then use toothpicks or something to get the e-6000 in there as deep as possible. check for any that seeps out when you close it up, wipe it up if it does before it dries and then tie a shoelace or somethin around where u want it to hold and let it dry for at least 24 hours. For the seperation on the sides i actually use blue painters tape sometimes to hold it in place after i glue. just pull it real tight and put a bunch of pieces on there. never had any trouble with residue taking it off, that tape tends to be pretty good with that stuff.

Don't ever use krazy glue

When they separate again after one wear you will have a hard time getting them glued properly because crazy glue leaves a thick layer of crusty hard glue all over the shoe. It sucks I've tried it before. :lol

Regluing a shoe is difficult. You should just separate the midsole and then take it to your shoe shop.

Hey can someone help me with some black red 12's i have they have to scuffs on the red part, is there anyway to fix these. Repaint them maybe? its actually more pink in person the flash just made it look white.

Try mr clean magic eraser on the scuffs if that doesnt work then angelus paint should work but be carefull stripping them

I had some midsole separation on my XVI lows. Can anyone recommend the best adhesive to fix this?

Thanks!

I'm restoring a pair of Carolina Blue Foamposite Pros. Been following the directions on here for whitening the mesh on the tongue. But I can't seem to whiten all the white material surrounding the ankle. Any suggestions?

Will post pics later but just picked up a a pair of 01 Blk/Cement 3 that have a bit yellowed midsole and scuffs.....I heard that teeth whitening gel works well to remove the yellow, any truth to this?
