:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

About to make my first order of Jason Markk. If I'm mainly using it on Jordan 1, 3, 5, 6, and 11, all of which are 'premium' leather except 5 and 11, do you guys recommend I purchase their Premium shoe cleaning brush?

Thanks
Buy it on pickyourshoes.com you'll get free shipping

Is there anything I can pick up at the store to help clear the soles of my Space Jam's? I know there is retro bright, the sauce, sea glow etc. but the yellowing isn't too bad I was wondering if I could get something today in hand to touch it up a bit?

sauce is the only thing you can use, right now right away, because you can make it in 2 seconds and nothing straight off the shelf will do anything that i know of yet, the sauce is easy for 11s

These were way worse than pics show, scuffs all over the leather & extremely dirty. Deep cleaned in & out including laces & insoles, decreased, deoxidized midsoles, touched up many scuffs, whitened tongue tabs.
You did an amazing job! How much did you get em for?

Okay, the sauce is sold out on their website for right now. They said a homebrew formula can be made for retro brite tho? Any suggestions or alternatives to use?

Is the angelkus paint good for all shoes like the 3's?

i love the know it alls in here, i know its meant for leather but is pliable so it works perfect on rubber and midsoles so yes u can use it on 3s and yes it works on the PODS of the 13s, i have my flints painted and they look brand new and i have worn them as well, plus using retrobrite to make them white again is very risky because you could accidentally get the sauce on the suede and ruin it or get it on anything it will leave marks and the heat of doing the sauce might seperate the entire shoe and become a problem later on. so with that being said paint the shoes and enjoy them looking fresh

Painting the pods is not a good idea.

I read that you could use straight 40 Volume Creme Developer. I'm new to this and have never tried it.

Maybe someone with more experience can confirm this works or not?

Where can i get forgers tape i tried googling it but found nothing? Is it a brand of painters tape?

Is that for yellowed soles? If I can find it I may try it on a pair of 11 IE's and let you know, wanna use a more proven commodity on my Space Jams and DMP 11's.

For seaglow, retrobite, and the sauce could somebody make a post on how to make or best place to purchase them and what shoe or material they work best on they all somewhat run together in my head.

posted this in another thread...should have just posted it here, question, how bad is the yellowing here? 1-10, 10 being the worst?

1000

Use either sauce or retrobrite, don't use sea glow.

Sauce can be purchased here;

Retrobrite you have to make yourself.

They are usually used on clear soles thst have yellowed. XIs. Vs, VIs, XVIs, ect. It can also be used on rubber materials like toe caps and pods to get the yellowing out of there.

^^ thanks , now last thing if your shoes yellowing is at a 10 could either one get your shoe back to a 1 ?

They both could. It would just take multiple sessions that are a few hours each.

Using Saran Wrap on the soles after you apply RB/SG/S keeps it from drying out. So your sessions can last longer.
