:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

^i think that's what did the poor man's space jams look. (color remover) only suppose to use rit whitener or bkf. i think the color remover took thecolor from the back of the tongue's and inside of the shoe and made it seep up into the mesh. but try out the suggestions people have made in hereincluding myself. i mean altogether these products shouldn't run you more than $10 ( bleach, oxyclean, bkf).

that sounds right. the thing is, on the guide on iss, it says to use color remover. i probably shouldn't have listened to that haha.

OK here is the info .... so its ONLY the LEFT foot . The WHOLE SOLE has NOT YET separated , just parts of it . The parts of the sole that have separated are THE INSIDE ARCH AND WHERE THE PINKY TOE IS ON THE OUTTER SIDE PART.

Hey I have a pair of CDP Bred XI's. I wore them the other day and the color on my jeans bled onto the white midsole a little bit? What can I do to cleanthis off without messing them up?

Also how can I prevent my jeans from bleeding on to my shoes?

BTW...Ive been doing some research...How safe is Mr. Cleans Magic Eraser for the midsole? Does it contain any damging chemicals?

this works for gum on ANYTHING homeboy:
chew a fresh piece, and after like ten minutes when its real soft you should be able to press on the other gum and they will semi-stick together so you will beable to pull some of it off, just keep pressing it on and pulling at it, like if you remove blu-tac. If you ever got gum on clothes or a bag or something thisis the same way to do it, works everytime! Its a lot better than just sitting there scraping the gum off

^you're better off doing it yourself. just reserch in this thread as far as the cleaners you need.

IS THERE A WAY TO CLEAN THE CLOTH BEHIND THE MESH NETTING ON THE AJ 5S AND IF SO WHAT DO YOU USE TO CLEAN THEM?

^i REALLY REALLY hope that was u that got those Columbia beaters for 23 cents on ebay.

^ i got the same problem. mine was so dirty and yellow i used white out lol. now the white out is dirty. imma get some oxyclean and rit brightener whitener andtry to scrub it

like i've said again and again, oxyclean for the netting on the iv's and v's. just depending on how yellow and dirty it is will tell you how muchyour gonna have to use this product.
-andfattoo- yeah i bought those columbia beaters. gonna be my experiment now when i get them. i'm hoping to offer anyone on hear some advice on how toremove the yellowing on the patent leather on the columbia's. so everyone cross their fingers and hope i find a solution lol.

for those that have seaglow, did you use the steel wool to scrub it into the soles? looks like it would do more damage than good.

i used the steel wool they provided only on areas that were a deep yellow on the soles. only use the sea glow if the white rubber area can't be cleaned bytraditional methods. use the sea glow to clean these areas as instructed. if it's still not coming out, then use the steel wool. apply the sea glow to thesteel wool and rub it in the areas being treated. then go over the area with a paper towel to absorb the yellow being removed. the steel wool doesn'tdamage the shoes at all since it's such a fine material. you'll be safe using it.

Does anyone know how to clean and maintain the midsoles on the stealth xx3s? im havin some serious probs wit these things

I had stored away some Air Max Trainers and just checked up on them after a long $++ time. I open the box and check them out to find some foggy $%%+ going onin the big air bubble in the back. What do I do NT?

How safe is Mr. Cleans Magic Eraser for the midsole of CDP XI's? Does it contain any damging chemicals? I dont want it to yellow my sole.

My jeans bleed on them a little

no damaging chemicals in the magic eraser. it's safe and shouldn't yellow the soles.

Two quick questions if anyone can answer what can I do about the netting starting to yellow on my black/metallic 5's and fire red 5's. I have seaglowbut can I use it on the netting and do I have to be really carefull. Also the back plastic part of my fire red 3's is yellowing is there any way tounyellow. Any advice is appreciated. I checked the first page for any info but didnt have much and I don't have much time to look around.

^lol... well on this same page someone suggests to use oxyclean to clean the netting on the 5's ( not to get on your case), and to clean the back tab ofyour 3's i hear Mr Clean's Magic Eraser does the trick. I dont know if the Super Magic Eraser does any better though, but you can try it out and sharewith us what happens.

Thanks I appreciate the info and I will let you know what happens.
