What’s wild is football is legit a hardware game. A few plays go differently in both chiefs super bowls. And so many narratives about this team are different if they’re holding a title.
And the chiefs made those plays and the 49ers didn’t. They gotta hold that L. But it’s magnified because of when they dropped the ball. Their reputation is what it is until they make it not that anymore.

All on Shanahan for CMC going down imo.
Instead of easing him in for more of a 3rd down role and using the leading rusher the first 5 weeks of the season. Not to mention Guerrendo there.

Didn't think the Niners would be this bad this year. Hoping for changes on the roster and coaching staff this offseason.

I know players are playing for future contracts and roster spots. So I get whoever you put out there is going to compete even if the results aren’t good.
But if they don’t win these next 2 winnable home games and get to 7-7. It’s time to start shutting guys down the rest of the way. And how they play against the Bears is going to be very telling. It’s one thing to get spanked in Green Bay and Buffalo while dealing with injuries. Those are legit good teams. If they come out flat at home against the Bears, you can make a legit case they mailed it in for the season.

It’s been a brutal season. At the end of the day these guys are human. I couldn’t imagine what Trent Williams and Charvarious Ward are going through mentally. Injuries inevitably heal. But they’re dealing with the type of grief and hurt that sticks with you the rest of your life.
