does anyone else see a problem here?
eric reid is literally playing defensive end. no ******* joke. that's not a blitz or a coverage assignment at the line. jim o'neil is literally using reid to run stunts.

^That is just terrible. God I wish we still had Fangio. He would of had this defense tight.

Borland was great man. Could you imagine Borland next to Bowman. Dam. He played a lot bigger than his size as well.

^iono i prefer guys that leave it all out there. They seem to not get the worst of it. It's the tentative players that seem to get it worst for example Reid and all the concussions he's got

Team should just shut him down, put him on IR, and let him have the surgery asap.

I want to see more Ronald Blair. He's seen very limited snaps, but every time he's on the field, dude is pushing someone back or exploding by them.
What kind of shoulder injury does he have?

They've never disclosed exactly what his injury is. Just that it will require surgery in the off-season.

^Yikes...If it's hindering him that bad from being productive, they should shut him down.

Red, how do you like the play calling on the offense? Better than last year? Things that need to improve?

The actual play designs are great, but the variety is what is starting to irk me, especially run plays.

I was just talking to my buddy about this yesterday. I am starting to be able to call out Chip's plays based off the formation alone.  I think I called out 3 in a row last Sunday based off the player alignment...

I am just a guy. If I can see plays coming, what do you think a professional defensive coordinator or an NFL defense sees??

It's starting to get old seeing us run inside zone over again. It would be nice if we switched it up a lot more frequent throughout the game. I think we ran 3 run plays against Seatte(albeit not always with the same player roles): inside zone, pin pull and power O.

I think we need to really give teams a lot more looks. It's becoming way too predictable.

this defensive scheme is a god damn disaster
It is funny you say this, because Eric Reid said during an interview that the scheme was incredible and his teammates on defense absolutely love it.  Granted, this was after the Rams game, so things could have changed.  But listening to the passion and excitement he had in his voice leads me to believe he was being genuine.

One of those sacks was when Marcus Martin filled in for a snap, so the starting 5 have only given up 1 sack.

Line has lived up to expectations, especially in pass protection. They've been excellent against 3 tough fronts. With that said, they have a lot of room to improve in the run game...

I would like to see Garnett inserted over Beadles, and have the team run more power stuff. More powers, isos, dives, traps, counters etc. This line isn't built to do what Chip wants them to do, this line is built to maul people.

Imagine Garnett pulling on power to Trent and Tiller's side.

@AdamSchefter
No great surprise, but Cowboys WR Dez Bryant is not expected to play Sunday vs 49ers, per source. http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0573212474057169333-4

Gotta take advantage

I'm really curious to see our d-line against this Dallas o-line. I wish this game was next week so we could have Lynchmobb in there as well
