Deuce, in all seriousness, whatever hangup you have over Sanders is enough for you to consider abstaining on Election Day if he were the Democratic candidate? Are you serious?

I don't like Joe Biden—his political history is extremely problematic to put things mildly, his current politics are mostly warmed over centrist garbage, his desire to fight on behalf of working people is decidedly suspect, and he can hardly string together two coherent sentences—but I would happily vote for him over Trump.

The main two issues you've taken with Bernie in here are (1) you think he can't beat Trump, and (2) black people don't like him. But the actual available evidence contradicts both of those claims. And if Bernie is the nominee and you actually care about beating Trump, we're only left with the second statement, which, again, is a bull**** narrative that you've created in your own mind for reasons that appear unintelligible. For the record, Bernie is currently polling at 28% with black primary voters, putting him "second with black voters, within the margin of error, to Biden."

So what, exactly, is your issue, then?

Okay......just for the record and in all SERIOUSNESS if push came to shove and the choices were Bernie and Trump on election I’m going with Bernie. That’s right all you Bernie Sanders supporters ya boy right here would grit his teeth, suck it up and put all the effort I had to get Bernie elected.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living?

Oh, I’m not involved in the political arena at all For the past year or so I get sent to NYC every 2-3 months to meet with industry analysts in my field at the Big 3 MSM (CNN, MSNBC, Fox News) and Wall St to talk about the current state of affairs at my company, it just so happened this time was the day after the debate. I’m not on tv or meeting with any of the folks we love/hate on those networks but I’ve seen most of them in passing.

I wanted to give Hannity a kick in the gut and Stone Cold Stunner soooo bad. I also thought Don Lemon was gonna grab my meat. Neither happened

Well it's a good thing that after years of falsely calling everyone from Jimmy Carter to Bill Clinton, calling Obama a Marxist and even Communist regularly and basically changing definitions as they deem politically expedient, red baiting doesn't seem to have the same effectiveness or sting that it once had

He's a self styled Democratic socialist, a mild form of the European model which is basically just a form of regulated capitalism combined with expansion of the welfare state in practice, which only sounds radical in a county with an extremely right leaning overton window as the US.

Also we can't act as if the GOP aren't gonna disingenuously and dishonestly label and fear monger about any and all candidates under the Dem banner regardless

The poll #'s from the article above actually showed better #'s against Trump when the word socialist was used in the framing

I just don't think it's gonna have any real effect once people hear about the actual policy over scare tactics.
