I hope nobody here was expecting Tiger Woods to be a voice for race relations. Like really, who among us cares what Tiger Woods thinks, about anything?

I don't even get why they asked him that.

This.

Tigers comments are par for the course for him. He's been like this for years. If Tammi Lahren told him to shut up and Tee-off, he'd be like "Why of course! That's what I'm supposed to do. My wide reaching platform and sense of social responsibility be damned to hell"

His house is also right next to Michael Jordan's in Florida and they're really good friends. They definitely share the same views on republicans, and likely their shoe buying habits.

Asking tiger woods about race relations is like asking ja rule about current world events

Bingo.

But if we're being honest, I'd really like to hear what Ja Rule thinks about impeachment.

I don't really care about Tiger's opinion on the matter but given his response to the Trump question, that seem like the reasonable question to ask.

He said people don't have to agree with the Presidents politics to respect the office. Welp, might as well see if Tiger's and Trump's politics line up

I guess. People only care because it's Trump IMO. If he had said that same sentence about the other presidents he played with it wouldn't be a story.

Fox News probably would have made it a story if he said it about Obama actually. It's really just a non story being a story cuz Trump things.

Bruh this piece of crap is 20+ years old and the price ain't never come down, and somehow for some reason you can't use any other calculator.
I have never looked into the exact story of the TI-83 but however came up with the rollout of that plan is a genius.

It probably got a lot to get school districts to adopt them early, then after that it I pure finesse. Teachers would be against changing calculators because it is one more thing they gotta keep up with, they would be against kids having different kinds of calculators because it would be more work to troubleshoot and make lesson plans for.

Texas Instruments continuously puts in ways for kids to cheat in newer additions, that makes teachers oppose them; but then give enough new functions where they can find a niche. Like the 89.

So boom, you now have a monopoly

And then you got built-in demand and constantly decreasing production cost. Like I know the margins on them things must be glorious.

However, I wonder in recent years if other things like Common Core math and web-based learning have hurt them.

Anyway, I can always respect a good economic hustle.

Plus, everyone knows that all you gotta go is hold out until the fourth week of school and you can one on da low from you local high school scammer. Just make sure he does he due diligence and removes any identifying marks on it. At my HS my boy Ernesto was the plug, he would even put Tetris on it for you.

Why he was my favorite golfer and got me into the sport. And he’s a complete ****? I knew he was partially indifferent to racial matters but not like this .....

You couldn't even move up in TIs. Teacher like TI-84? oh naw we can't use that.

Oh I had complete formulas in my calculator that i would download for all my Econ and math classes in undergrad. Some teachers were smart and made us delete them but others didn’t know about it. I loved my TI-84.

I laugh when Libs try to downplay just how respected and loved President Trump is in the African American community. Tiger, Barson, Silk, Diamond and others have vouched for him. He spoke with Americas Black Pastors and they are all on board. Coal Gang has his back, Kanye is in the fold and Steven Harvey keeps helping him out. Besides, space force is VERY popular in the African American community.

Well you can cheat a lot with a 84. So some teachers were up on game.

Second, teachers already stressed as it is so they not gonna want deal with anything more than they have too.

My PreCalc teacher was old as hell and making over 100k. He was on autopilot and no student would change that. We had a class project on the graphing calculator, but when kids ask to help and dude saw you didn't have a 83, famb would legit tell you go buy one. Dude would even refer students to the school scammer.

Anything to avoid having to do extra work, including encouraging students to buy stolen goods.

Being in college when cell phones were becoming smart phones and professors were mostly clueless was a blessing

Did the scammer look like this?

Teachers at all my schools never allowed any cellphones under any circumstance. They knew we’d be texting without them knowing otherwise.

Ti-83 is a great machine. Didn't get much use from me after HS though, once i got to my college math courses there was pretty much no calculators allowed.

edit: ti-83 was also great for Snake, and that other drug dealer game. Anyone remember that?

Got a little taste of matlab in college, but not much - wish that was around when i was in HS (90s). Was mostly SAS and that is still what i use most of the time today.

This quote speaks volumes

Reporters asked if Woods would say more about race relations in America and the golfer replied, “No. I just finished 72 holes and am really hungry.”
:{ black folks were the only ones defending him
through his trials and tribulations

If im elected this midterm i will do my part to drive down the cost of ti-83 graphing calculators

Bruh this piece of crap is 20+ years old and the price ain't never come down, and somehow for some reason you can't use any other calculator.

From what I've read, the TI-83 is still Texas Instruments' biggest seller and they make a hefty profit off it because it only costs about $15-20 to make.

The TI-83 is one of the few calculators that allowed to be used on standardized tests, so that also keeps the price up.

Between that and schools being slow as **** when it comes to technology, the TI-83 and its variants are gonna be expensive for the time being.

I don't teach anymore but last semester I filled in the second d half of the semester for an older professor got sick.

Come to find out he was letting students use calulators on the exam, ok fine. But students were allowed use their cell phone's calculator. The average score on the Midterm was like 92.

im legit serious with this question
were u being sarcastic or not :lol

The lack of wage growth has befuddled economists and policymakers, who hoped that after job openings hit record highs and the unemployment rate dipped to the lowest level in decades, employers would give beefy raises to attract and retain workers. But so far, gains have been slight, and small recent increases are being eclipsed by rising prices.

I'd say that neoliberal and libertarian economists and policy makers are confused as to why wages are stagnant despite economic growth.
