Correct me if I'm wrong but if hypothetically Trump were to pardon a key figure in the special counsel probe, wouldn't that then bar the pardoned from declining to answer questions and invoking the 5th amendment if they are then subpoenad?

It's funny how that these Evangelicals use Jesus/God as a way to justify forgiveness. Like it's a threatening thing to have wrongdoings and feel like Jesus keeps count on their mistakes. They use the Lord for forgiveness as long as they "repent" or else they lose their pass to heaven

The thing with tax cuts, specifically drastic ones, is to not just focus on how much money you're saving on your taxes and potential wage rises. These kind of tax cuts tend to go hand in hand with cutting government spending in general, cutting entitlements and significant national debt increases. You could earn a few hundred or thousands on top of your previous income before the tax cuts but you might also be paying significantly more in other areas such as healthcare. The tax cuts provide more money to US residents, but at the same time there's also Trump and the GOP wanting to further cripple the healthcare system, attempts to drag the US in unnecessary trade wars, large government spending and Paul Ryan & co planning entitlement reform. Big spending projects such as the wall and the supposed trillion dollar infrastructure plan are still potentially ahead.
