There are sooooooooooooooo many convenient flaws and problems that get overlooked when it comes to these convos and their practical application

Before even getting into the economics of the whole thing (training, supply/demand, insurance ramifications, etc)

Consideration has to be given to the very very simple principle of how many people are actually "'bout that life"

One only has to look no further than the big cheeto, himself.. he perfectly exemplifies how cheap talk is.. it's easy to run your mouth and then lose nerve when the time comes to actually jump.. for all his big talk, his many deferments (5) aren't hard to find

Numerous studies have been done into either a) how many soldiers weren't actually firing their weapons and/or b) purposely missing their "enemies" if they did fire

And that's before factoring in the MANY historical examples of the issues which arise as soon as minorities start practicing these "rights"

Ironically enough I think white conservatives get that ideology from playing too many video games...in life, all it takes is 1 bullet, no restart, no care package to heal you immediately.

One thing I’ll say is that this whole Russia thing makes me look at politics differently. Not the whole collusion aspect, but how they went about undermining and influencing our voting/political processes. Politics is a game of strategy. The smartest move the NRA made was lobbying so that no government backed institution can do any research on gun violence and its impacts at all like we would do any other public health issue. That way this whole discussion doesn’t get past Internet forums and facebook posts. And it lets people get on their soap box and blame kids for being to mean, and parents for not raising their kids right. oh and video games. Ingenious on the NRA’s part.
