Chris Ruddy to @JudyWoodruff: President Trump is considering firing special counsel Robert Mueller, who he considered for another position

President Trump said Monday that he has accomplished more than any other president aside from Franklin Roosevelt during his first six months in office.
“Never has there been a president, with few exceptions — case of FDR, he had a major depression to handle — who has passed more legislation and who has done more things than what we’ve done,” Trump said during his first-ever Cabinet meeting at the White House.
The president sought to use the Cabinet meeting to show his administration is getting things done, pushing back on the notion the Russia investigation is stymying his agenda on healthcare, taxes and infrastructure.
In an unusual move, he had each Cabinet secretary take turns praising him and his policy agenda.
Trump also said he would hold a news conference in two weeks to detail his administration’s plan to defeat the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The president has thus far been mum on his plan to overhaul the ISIS fight. He last promised such a news conference on May 21, but he never held one.
Critics pounced on Trump's comments as yet another example of the president exaggerating his record of achievements.
Trump has yet to sign a major piece of legislation, and his highest-profile executive order, the travel ban, has been put on hold by the courts.
During his first 100 days in office, Trump did sign the most bills into law of any president in the last 70 years. But the majority were small-bore items. The president has approved more than a dozen measures rolling back Obama-era regulations.
