The essence of Trump power is how he can universally and serially break promises but no matter what, if he merely talks about something that an individual or a group wants, he’s going to be given some degree of credulity.

Trump’s ceasefire will last a few days, he’s doing this entirely to spite Biden and to posit himself as Reagan in 1980 with Biden playing the role of Carter.

Trump’s world view (and extended family) are firmly aligned with ultra zio ideology. These ghouls won’t rest until Gaza is fully colonized.

Like apply that logic generally. Why shouldn't America take back the Panama Canal, acquire Greenland, make Canada the 51st state, or make countries accept deportation flights of people not even from their country? I mean if the President wants it, he can get it done.

Some people on the left prioritize being anti-Democrat so much they have completely lost the plot.

We are probably under 30 days away from seeing ICE raids at daycares, and families being separated, but folk falling harder for this "Donald the Dove" stuff.

And Americans have already reported instances of bans and post removals for doing stuff like wearing high cut tops or post images of Pride flags.

From my understanding they are on Chinese IG, not their version of TikTok.

None of the tech billionaires are taking an L.

They are probably all gonna laugh about this when they see each other in DC on Monday.

If you're taking the Tik Tok ban for face value, then yeah I'd be happy too, it's terrible for society but there are underlying things that Tik Tok represents that I'm for, not the company itself.

I have seen plenty of people just post "damn yall really mad over Tik Tok" without realizing whats below the surface. This is all a big **** you to the government and tech giants considering that millions flocked over to the actual CCP version of IG/Pinterest...willingly allowing them to "steal their data". If this is where Gen Z draws the line I'm here for it. A little bit of me wished that this type of energy was channeled on the election but it's too late for that. We need the younger generation to at least stand up for something even if its as goofy as Tik Tok.

I work in a high school and i can’t wait for tik tok to be banned because of the amount of distraction it creates (it’s only a matter of time before another app fills that void). That said, the amount of sinophobia used to pass this ban reminds me of mccarthyism and the red scare. “They’re stealing your data!” is just the 2025 version of “loose lips sink ships”
