Legacy publications and pundits had a whole full honeymoon period when he was elected where they wrte aggressively pushing that the national Dems needed to enlist him for help or follow his playbook to win elections and how he was a future face of the party
Almost like every one of the concerns and criticisms aimed at him at the time, which started at his documented corruption even before taking office, were legitimate and folks should be extra weary about the overt 'Law and Order' garden variety brand of politicians these days...
