Still can't forgive the people that voted for this clown in 2016, and tried to convince other people to vote for her as well.

Especially disappointed in the black people that took part in that foolishness
She was the biggest difference in that election. She’s a scumbag jerk that deserves nothing but disrespect.

Must listen. Crazy, relatively unknown story from the 40s, that’s super relevant today. Spielberg is apparently adapting this to a movie 8o 😳

I think your argument is based on a bunch of assumptions that I just don't buy right now. I just think that things will more likely cause more bad outcomes.

Homebuilders want more units. You have real estate developers that are building single family homes to rent. Yes, I think the Calida Group is one of them

You have other investors that have no interest in doing so. Pension funds, international investors, hedge funds. They just want to grab up the limited supply already there and coming online, then keep supply from increasing to much.

Plus again, the benefits of homeownership go away for a large chunk of the middle class.

I just don't think allowing more homes to fall into the hands of people saying they think building multifamily housing hurts their bottom line won't have any negative consequences

you don't think at all increased rental supply is a counter weight to a hedge fund investment in homes?

I rented a condo that was owned by corporation that owned multiple units in multiple buildings.
People have proposed banning that under the same principle, that it locks out people form the condo market. would you support that?

as a renter it seems like a positive especially given how hard it is to build apartments,
more rental supply, renters got access to higher quality unit than they ever could in the traditional apartment building market.

so to me its something that might hurt prospective home buyers but help renters.
which in my mind seems like a wash.

Ultimately neither options is great and people should build more supply.

Technically I suppose this forewoman is allowed to speak openly to some extent about what went on in this Special Grand Jury but at this point it’s time to just shut up.
Excerpt:
“It is not a short list,” the forewoman, Emily Kohrs, said in an interview.

Instead of doing something about it to maintain security, giving hints to the idea can easily be charged with seditious conspiracy. As to why these people are still out spewing discontent and endangering the govt, rather than being arrested is already a sign that the u.s. needs to enforce its rules and suspending rights that could endanger its stability.
