Also Republicans: Tell us the evidence you have on the target of an ongoing criminal investigation. Especially the name of any potential informant, which we definitely wouldn't leak to Trump immediately. After all, it's not like Trump has ever publicly attacked cooperating witnesses, outed their personal information so his cultists can go on a harrassment spree, openly praised his buddy Roger Stone for obstruction and witness tampering,etc etc.

I figure the phrasing means you're trolling, as that exact phrase is commonplace on social media when trolls on either side feast on what they see as wishcasting.
As for some useful information to whoever might not know, I'll lay out what a target letter entails.
Giuliani will have been informed of his target status and the crimes the prosecutor believes to have substantial evidence for to support that Rudy committed them.
That does not necessarily mean enough to indict, and in some cases the target might later end up losing that target status if other evidence comes in that decreases the evidentiary basis to support that target status. Prosecutors will not inform a target if they change his status but the (ex-)target has the right to ask prosecutors to confirm whether they're still labeled a target or not.
What is cut and dry is that if you receive a target letter, you're in deep **** and have a high likelihood of getting indicted.

I just saw it as an opportunity to also properly inform the thread on what a target letter means. I assume not everyone is as much of a US crime junkie as I am.

No. Logically, an arrest would follow being told you are the target of an investigation.
I’d imagine someone wouldn’t be told they are a target unless they are about to be indicted.

Vietnamese dump truck driver brought banh mi sandwiches to work one day for everyone. It was a mixture of loving it and confusion as they’re spitting jalapeño all over the ground because it’s too spicy and “why are there carrots in here?!”
They became a hit anyways and now he’s obligated to bring them all the time.
