On Friday night, writing for The Washington Post, conservative attorney George Conway laid out the way forward to investigate former President Donald Trump for his criminal conduct in office now that he is a private citizen — and prosecute him where appropriate.

"Trump departed the White House a possible — many would say probable, provable — criminal, one who has left a sordid trail of potential and actual misconduct that remains to be fully investigated," wrote Conway. "A desperate fear of criminal indictment may even explain Trump's willingness to break any number of laws to stay in office despite losing his reelection bid, democracy and the Constitution be damned."

There is no “liberal super push”. It’s like you’re trying to equate two things that simply just don’t balance. Being a conservative is not an issue. Hell, most black people are somewhat “conservative” . I’m listening to Buju Banton right now....while applauding Biden’s reversal of Trump’s trans military ban. These things can exist.

The “balance” you are looking for is to allow ignorant, lazy and bigoted talk to thrive. And when the push back tightly comes....to not be challenged on it. It feels like an attack, when it is not even remotely that. Like, do you want a safe space to get bad take off or something? What “conservative” or “libertarian” takes do you want to get off? You haven’t posted not one of them yet, for you to even feeel that something or someone is being “bullied”.

BTW, the UK never adopted the Euro. They never really wanted to integrate the union, so they worked out a compromise that would allow them to keep the pound in exchange for open borders.

The Missouri Compromise and Compromise of 1850, which both tried to find a "middle ground" between abolitionists and pro-slavery forces. Of course, the abolitionists were entirely correct to want to outlaw slavery completely, but this was seen as too extreme for many at the time. Well, how did that turn out?

Even after the national tragedies at Charlottesville and Parkland (especially in the case of the former, which was a dispute between right and left-wing protesters yet only the right actually killed anyone) where people were directly murdered by white supremacists, when preventative measures were called for against extremist rhetoric and stricter laws to keep assault rifles out of the hands of people with known violent histories, false equivalence was made between white nationalists on the right and Antifa on the left. To the point that advocates state we haven't reached a practical answer that suits everyone and there needs to be a calm and balanced discussion by sane people without any political agenda or you'll risk of oppressing innocent groups of people, despite that hatred is directly written into Nazi ideology so even the most nonviolent racist will still go to the ends of the earth to oppress people and create a white ethnostate.
