Damn I didn't even think of asking for that. If I ever go back I'll make sure to ask if they have that option. No square cut?
Nice! Good 'ole Glen Oaks, yup. It's changed a lot over the years. A lot of the OG businesses are long gone.Glen Oaks? Haha. Crazy to see. I grew up around there.
It def does, good eye. Same cornmeal crust as them too. This place was kind of expensive & now worth it imo. The 14" pies I got are their "large" priced at $22 & their 16" XL is a whopping $29 . I can go to an actual pizzeria & get me an 18 inch-er for like $20, lol, never again.Looks like Dominuts.

Man, still trying to figure out what makes that Pizza Chicago Style. No tavern cuts, no cracker crust, and the crust is completely visible.Damn I didn't even think of asking for that. If I ever go back I'll make sure to ask if they have that option.

Lol, yeah there's absolutely nothing about it that makes it even a little Chicago style. I guess that's the best name they could come up with given their limited creativity .Man, still trying to figure out what makes that Pizza Chicago Style. Population boom, cost of living & property prices have nearly doubled. There's a lot of strip malls in Glen Oaks now compared to back in the day. What's changed about it in your opinion? I grew up in the Floral Park/Bellerose/Glen Oaks area.

Does Chicago identify more with tavern style or deep dish for pizza? I'm going to guess deep dish for sure.
Both. Most Chicagoans eat more tavern style than Deep Dish. There's just far more taverns style joints around. But we're more famous for Deep Dish outside Chicago.Does Chicago identify more with tavern style or deep dish for pizza? I'm going to guess deep dish for sure.
