Canon's PowerShot G11, leaked yesterday, is their latest in smallish formfactor, RAW-capable cameras that will be available this October for $500.

The G11 features the same 28mm lens with 5X zoom (28-140mm), but it actually trades the G10's 14.7MP sensor with a 10MP CCD, said to have betterperformance in lowlight that, coupled with the anti-noise system, offers an alleged 2-stop performance increase (according to what Canon told DP Review).

^^^For real dude. I mean most of the time I never complain about bring my DSLR but there are times I just can't do it for whatever reason. And usually whenthat happens, that is when something golden happens.....like me going to a skate shop in SF and then looking at some little kid...and then noticing that hisdad is Mos Def. Damn!

The camera looks ill though. I had the G9 but it is to the point where you might as well get a DLSR since it isn't pocket sized. I just think it is alil' steep in the price though.
