I wish I had panning shots but I couldn't get good pics.The pic of the beach is sweet with that glass or whaterver, and the dof.The only slightlydistracting thing would be that little twig in front of it though

That's actually a man-o-war that probably washed up on the beach during high tide. There were several out there, but that one had a lot of color to it.Thanks, though!

I made a few pano's on PS and I'm trying to upload them to flickR but the files were too large. I go back to PS to make them smaller and I keep gettingthis message.."Can not complete your request because unkonwn or invalid JPEG marker type found".. What does that mean? and how do I go about openingmy pics in PS? Thanks in advance

Thanks bro. The way I do mine is that I post process the Raws then save as .jpg then stitch with cs3. For flickr, I resize them to a width of 1600 or 1920. Theresulting file is around ~1.2mb.

i ordered a month ago from adorama and im still yet to recieve the lens. i was the same as you thinking i would just be able to pick it up so i didnt preorder. now i regret not doing so.

Get the 1.4. It's truly a sharp lens. For the price that its being offered, is a great deal. Also, you could flip the 1.8 and get close to a$80 for it. I would get the 1.4 asap.

I dont own the 1.4 but I've played with it at a store in Japan, def worth the price if its just $115. You can probably easily resell the 1.8 on ebay orcraigslist.
