Big boy whip too. Congrats lil man.12th grade prom
Never heard of babymoon. F all that.
I don't think anyone has an issue with what people do. It's the commercialization and normalization of it.I think we can all agree that having a baby (especially your first) changes everything, so if it means making an excuse to take one last big trip together then that’s great, no matter what you call it. Same with giving your wife a present to celebrate the birth of a child. IIRC, I didn’t do either one but won’t knock another man for doing what he feels is appropriate to mark such a momentous occasion.
Is sheltered a bad word?
When you hear someone say "My parents sheltered me," do you think, "Damn, that's messed up"?
Companies will likely try to promote the idea of pregnancy last hoorah trips as a common practice, creating a sense of urgency for those who haven't adopted it yet. Given that women are the ones who carry pregnancies, marketers will likely create ads specifically targeting them, making it easier to reach their audience. Soon it will become wide spread and the norm for everyone.Commercialization and normalization? Can you expand that thought cause I’m not following at all.
Grew up in Central and Augusta. Couldn't walk past Austin going west or past Divison going north.Depends on the level. I grew up on the west side of Chicago part of ny childhood and I was only allowed to play a couple blocks away from the house but never past St. Louis.
I feel like most of this is a stretch. People vacation in all manner of ways and the “deals” would have to be available year round. I think you’re worried about a non-issue.Companies will likely try to promote the idea of pregnancy last hoorah trips as a common practice, creating a sense of urgency for those who haven't adopted it yet. You don't understand, but that's okay. I also didn't mention anything about deals. They don't need to make any deals if they make it a normality.I feel like most of this is a stretch.
