that nose frida works really well. my son hated it at first but tolerated it after using it a bunch of times. used it up until about one year old.

They won't sit still bruh, they just won't. My son only sits still long enough to hear the songs that are being sang on the show. He loves music, even gets hype to the Family Feud music
Him and my daughter have my wife playing that damn Jump Jump like a Kangaroo song nonstop, and they're playing it on my Google Music account so I can't counter
oh okay, thought my daughter was the only one who was nonstop lol my daughter dance to anything. we could be sitting around talkin' and she will start shimmyin' her shoulders like she can hear music we can't
My daughter woke up out her sleep a few times to dance to that Fifth Harmony "I'm Worth It" commercial and will go right back to sleep

Embrace it, my daughter does dance and cheerleading and she's always dancing too and my son picked it up, and at times we all just turn the music on and dance to encourage em both (I can't dance a lick though).

I don't play much old school R&B but I play some. We was jammin' to The Isley Brothers a few weeks ago and I was jammin' while they just looked at em

All the feels on that one, man.
Mine is 5-months and I'm in the middle of "busy season". I'm lucky to get 30 mins when I come home early from work before logging back after he goes down. Nothing brightens my day like seeing his smile upon my arrival home or hearing his laugh.

i need to start using my go pro to make some vids. this weekend was the first time my son got on a surfboard and i pushed him in on some waves, we paddled out and saw a turtle, and he even stood up while i was holding the board. after seeing ELJEFE's vid, i feel like a dummy not capturing the moments on video [emoji]128534[/emoji]

Legoland is great, but don't miss Sea World either. SD Zoo is impressive but tough to navigate the hilly terrain pushing a stroller, IMO.

Ya my girl and I went in October and there's so many things to see at the zoo. I suggest planning it out before you go. We did it randomly and didn't realize it was that big. Also they charge for the extra safari tours. I also recommend paying to see the cheetah chase upfront. You get premium seating to it and they walk the cheetah right in front of you and I believe let you pet it.

Man, I hate to say it buy my son has learned more from TV and iPad than I could ever teach him. I'm always amazed when he says something smart and I ask where he learned it and he says he saw it on such and such cartoon. Team Umizoomi has his math skills on point right now.

I've done my daughter hair about 3 times. other than that, we rock fros till mommy whip them braids in her head. When she was smaller headbands was the go to move

My daughter's hair still hasn't kinked up yet and she's almost 4 months. It's just a curly afro. It won't really even stay in any design or pins or bows. It just slips out so we just put some oil in it and let it rock

Bros, youtube is your friend when it comes to hairstyles for your daughter. Search like: dad hairstyles for daughter or something, I've learned how to braid my daughters hair and a high bun - instant compliments from females when they find out I did it. 
But I need some advice ... my daughter is 3 going on 4 in April, she use to go to school 4 days a week - 2 days I would take her, I'm pretty structured and she knows what to expect from me and she moved up to the older kid classroom and she never had any problems (crying, etc).
For the last couple months she's only going twice a week now and my wife is the one taking her, but every single morning going to school my daughter cries like a maniac, the teacher even has to hold her like a little baby. I get video updates. We've already had a couple talks with her, I'm just trying to figure out could it be only going to school twice a week? Does she expect to get away with this behavior because my wife is taking her? I don't know.
My plan was to use the extra hunnid and put her in Kumon once a week but haven't done that, instead renewed our Disney passes.

I was wondering the same thing
my kid watched minimal tv before she was two, the tv she did watch was mostly baby einstein and a show on hulu called peek a boo by Jim Henson
there's little to no talking in either one so i thought they were good for her age
she's now a little over 2.5 years old and she started w/ Sesame Street, now watches Daniel Tiger, Pepa Pig, a Barbie doll show on netflix
, and some Disney movies (Frozen, Toy Story)she used to play games on my wifes iPad which were educational but now just uses the YouTube kids app my wife dl'ed on it
which mostly involves videos of people reenacting Frozen scenes/songs, people opening prize eggs w/ toys, or people playing with toys and recording it when I'm around I try to get her interested in things other than tv but I can't always be around and w/ us now having a 6 week old it's harder to get her to do other things...it's just easy to put on something to entertain her if we need to focus on the baby
also, my mom or my mother and law come up one day a week to watch here while we're at work so we're not paying a ridiculous day care bill and they not physically able to play w/ her like we can
once the weather gets nice enough I will have her out more doing things like going for walks or the park so she doesn't rot her brain
