I need a new cologne, not sure whats the best, but these are my current two

L'Homme by YSL
Portfolio by Perry Ellis

I don't like strong, overpowering scents, but I want it to last all day so I prefer oil based. Any good tips, gonna copp this weekend.
If you're at Macys or Bloomies:
Try Issey Miyake, Dolce & Gabbana, Thierry Mugler, Christian Dior
At Finer dept stores check:
Creed Green Irish Tweed, Bond #9 has many frags, just go and try as many as you can before olfactory fatigue sets in.
@needsomejays, @baise tonCanape, @sundro2000, are all hosting splits. PM them and try some great frags. Splits are easier on the wallet. But be warned.......they can pile up, just ask anyone on this thread. Good luck.

Just got my Pure Havane from NSJ.. This scent is amazinggggg... More of a winter fragrance. I also got Acqua Di Parma bergamotto Calabria this is nice too. Nice lemon/ginger scent.

I am gonna put y'all on to a little gem you might not know about and one I completely forgot about until today when looking at old pics from my summer in Ocean City, MD in '02

Creed Green Valley - juice is amazing it's very grassy mixed with citrus notes; I had this about 12 years ago, I have to check my dad's basement to see if there still might be some left

Yup, Just my luck. No Neimans near me. Gonna look around online, might get lucky.

I think mine stopped selling it; it's in the King of Prussia Mall right outside Philly but they had it for a year or so

I just remember really liking Scandal

Anyone here try these yet?
They get great reviews and are along the same lines as many favored frags here.
I've been looking around locally, but nowhere to be found. Might have to order a sample.

Dove got a bad rap for ripping off a lot of mainstream scents and putting a very conservative and traditional twist on them. I have 10ml of Enigma/Creation E and that's probably all I need. Tried the rest at Bergdorf and they are underwhelmingly uninspired, for the price point. The juice itself is beyond quality, like the finest of ingredients, quality, up there with the xerjoffs, Amouages.

Got my Asian Green Tea from sundro2000 today and I really like it off of first smell. Will give it a run this weekend for sure. Also thanks for the extra sample. Smells like SMW......

The quality is definitely a point of interest, however, uninspired leaves me a bit leery. If the "wow" factor is missing, it's going to be a deal breaker.

Got my samples in from Hermes today. They sent me Vanille Galante, Vetiver Tonka, and Ambre Narguile. All three are the ones I mentioned in my email. They smell great. Vetiver Tonka smells just like Bal d'afrique

Tried requesting a few samples from them online and they were charging something like 10-12 euros for 2ml shipped. Wouldn't budge on a few freebies :lol

I agree. Maybe just a bit more masculine at the top, but the drydown is dead on.
