I get building the hype, but pissing off a good majority of those who will buy 5,10,15 or even 20 pairs of one shoe.  That doesn't seem to be very brilliant.  I guess in the end though its a numbers game and they are willing to lose the NWTs, IllGT2s, Marleys, Abstractabilitys, you get the point, of the world to gain a few more unknowing sheep only to disappoint them at some point as well.

I feel what your saying. Only thing is... I've been doing this longer than NTalk. Ive always been into shoes. I never got what I wanted but always looked at them and the eastbays etc...


a lot of Ppl/NTers come and go... I've seen this happen so many times. It's a cycle. Only the "Real ones" "survive" lol. Look at FlintGrey, iJapino, NinjaHood, Myself, Sherlock Foams, etc... Were still here. Shoes will always be an addiction. The day I lose interest, I don't know what the f*** I'ma do... I'll prob start goin to church or somethin. But I'll still be here.

   NWT, you make some great points here. it used to amaze me how many people have come and gone here in the 7 years ive posted. i was addicted to shoes way before NT and dont see a day of my where i wont be addicted

yup, this NTalk community is different man, its actually like a fam in some ways. 

Even when i got banned twice, back then, i'd still lurk and write down the dates on my flip phone

haha I've been banned on my other name too.  Joined in early 08.  Got banned for posting the infamous "unibrow" pic in reponse to WilliamRivera getting smart with me

Thats a good price man, I just copped a 13 for 164 shipped....You figure if you ordered them off eastbay or nike when they first came out you pay like 141 shipped (at least to CA).

The white mesh tongue on the E.LA ruins the shoe and takes away from the clouds.

A lot of you still carry that mentality that they don't look good with jeans.

Not a lot of Ppl can rock em. 'specially the 5s. Those were probably harder than the 2s. These 6s have a bulky look around toe.
All depends on how you wear em.
It's like how you'd rock a Puma shoe.

The cut and fit of the jeans will determine if they're rockable. End of story. (Evisu, 514 slim, diesel, hell... even 511s if you size up till your comfortable)
