I hope there's a stateside release for these.
Sucks that a shoe with such historical significance got such a quiet release.
Other than the react, it looks like they're a decent remake of the originals.

Not soft like the leather on the White/Red Ship PE, but it's that thick cut leather that reminds me of an 80s basketball shoe, which I personally prefer because I know it will break in.

I honestly can't wait for MJO23DAN to post his review.

Already doubled up on them cause they are selling for around 400 Euro on Berlin eBay local sites. Apparently people just copped the shock drop to make some quick money but there is almost no hype around that shoe over here with „regular“ sneakerheads...

Agree completely. This could have been the time to capitalize on all the hype generated by the doc. Tell the REAL story on what shoe actually got banned, make a lot of em, sell a lot of em. But noooooooo. That would just make some sense at this point.

The Banned story Nike has ran with all these years while immoral, is mild to some of the other **** they have pulled over the years. Im mean damn he beat Santa Clause in em.
Really though, the high pricing limited crap they pull along with lack of quality over the years ranks higher than a marketing gimmick to try to sell a shoe.
The shoe sold because of who wore it and the radical look of it at the time. I really dont think the story played that huge of a roll in it. My opinion of course. Maybe the older heads will say different.
