It was always planned that way though. Given how poorly the reds moved releasing both at or near the same time would have made these sell even worse. But they’re definitely getting crushed by the most packed 5-6 weeks of the release year.

These will be had cheap, and maybe that hurts Awake but they have more JB collabs lined up so must not be working out too bad for either side

I actually have a feeling they would've sold better at release without all that pre aging bs. I really like both the reds and blue awake pair but there's no way I'd pay retail that I will have to put in manual labor to fix before wearing.
