There is only 1 problem. "Cindy" can redeem himself next game, or next game and possibly 2 more rounds. Meanwhile Ovechkin is playing with 2nd rate teams in the WC

Your team played great Raise the Cup. Every game was a nail bitter and the Wings never laid down (although they couldn't finish it out). Howard also impressed me with his maturity and poise. Good series, but now I have to focus on the CHI-VAN games. I'm a little scared of both teams, but I think the Sharks can take it to them (I also think the Wings could've gave it to both of them).

agreed. I Feel like this series could have easily been 4-1 maybe even 4-0 detroit's way, but the sharks made plays when they had to so tip your hat to em. San jose's crowd is CRAZY loud. Gotta be the best home ice advantage. Also, the wings travelled 4,000 miles more than any other team in the playoffs up to tonight. I can't help but think that works against them.

Is Crosby getting criticized for his struggles vs. the Habs like Ovechkin, or is there a double-standard?
Like I said before, if your teammates can "pick you up," a lot of struggles can be overlooked. The marquee guys like #8 & #87 can only do so much. But credit has to be given to the Canadiens for how they've essentially bottled up two of the top 3 players in the world...

Word. The Sharks played simply great hockey, and I can't hate on that. However; a couple terrible calls don't happen, and this series is easily 3-2 or even better in our favor.

Though I am bummed out that our season is over, I am proud of how far we came along this season. There was a period of time this season when it looked like we were going to miss the playoffs. Since the Olympic lay off we played our hearts out. Hats off to the Sharks who finally got over that hump (it's just too bad it was at the expense of my Wing). A Chicago - San Jose WCF is going to be very offensively high powered. I see San Jose edging them out only because of the Blackhawks questionable net-minder.

another season for the wings in the books.......sad to see it end so soon......cant wait to see who the wings pick up during the offseason because we sure as hell need to see a charge on defense......and I want to see Rafalski traded, dude had a horrible playoff series.......
top 3 horrible Rafalski plays
1. 5 on 3 advantage and he gives the puck up just outside of the detroit zone and it leads to a goal
2. in OT 2 on 1 rush, he is the only man back and he does not take away the pass
3. Giving the puck up last night behind the net that lead to the go ahead goal
He went from Olympic stud to playoff dud in a matter of months...........also Lidstrom seems to have lost 2 or 3 steps......Datsuk needs to stop trying to be cute with the puck.......I almost want to see the dump and chase offense make a come back.....
