OFFICIAL NFL THREAD 2024-25: Week XVI “Merry Christmas ya filthy animals”

Did the Cowboy Carter album really hit? Seems like it was an attempt at a career reinvention that didn't quite take.
She's been doing this exploring different historically black music genres/era's theme her last few albums.

Had her Dance/Electronic music album with Renaissance, Country/Folk music with Cowboy Carter and everyone's been speculating that she's gonna do her own Rock album next.

It's why she's titled them Act's I, II and so on, meant to be part of a series

Honestly, most of the games are mid anyway. I’ll take 2 NFL games in the morning and mid day and 2 NBA games at night.
NFL gms with possible playoff implications (and without) will beat out any regular season NBA game. Even if you throw in gambling and props for NBA to entice viewers:lol:

Next year Xmas is on a Thursday so NFL probably doing a triple header knowing many folks will be taking Friday off.

The NBA needs to put out a better product. They don’t have a monopoly on Christmas. These games have been some one sided blowouts too.

The NFL isn’t untouchable either. Monday Night Raw used to beat Monday Night Football ratings wise in the late 90’s during the attitude era and that’s when they were also competing against WCW at the time. The NBA needs to just bring a more ratings appealing product to the table.
