na bro...Mike Lombardi called me.... NFL Network's Mike Lombardi reports that the Jets are prepared to pay free agent Nnamdi Asomugha $12 million a year.
The question is whether that will cut it for Asomugha, who at the start of free agency was rumored to be commanding upwards of $20 million per season. In the story linked below, SI's Peter King insists, "If you don't think Rex Ryan is pushing for this, you're crazy." The Jets, for now, look to be the front-runners for Asomugha. But the 49ers are pushing hard according to multiple reports, and the Texans look to still have some interest. Jul 27, 1:43 PM

for having my back PP.

Despite the long-term figures Holmes will see, Tannenbaum has worked it out where we still have plenty to work with this off-season, and that's without reconstructing Sanchez' contract just yet.

Yes, The holmes deal is VERY cap friendly actually. his bonus money is actual what raises each year with his base salary so yes technically his salary figure on the cap is 1 MIL this season.

Sanchez is restructuring, LT they asked and although the rumors are he will not do so, they will just release him if it does not happen. LT wants to be here, it will get done. Revis Hinted that his agent is talking to the jets as well to make money work for other players.

The jets still have cap past ASO. The Holmes deal does not kill anything this off season.
