No surprise there. Makes me wonder what Seattle ends up doing. Right now Whitehurst isthe only QB on the roster.

First of all you're not getting the point, you're just trying to come off sounding like an uppity smart %%% "I'll wait for your response on the first two" stop sounding so goddamn childish kid.  The point is not about the numbers he's putting up, the point is there was no need to trade picks for an overrated WR when there were holes on the defense and on the line that year that could have been addressed with those picks.  And yea, he was brought in to be the number 1 receiver they paid a number 1 price.  He got a good amount of targets in 08 and could not do a damn thing.  He was running horrible routes, he was dropping balls and he was acting like TO JR on the sidelines.  He had another full year where he couldn't beat the coverage and Miles exploited that and once Miles got going, yea they're not going to look to throw to an inconsistent baby of a wideout.  You keep saying Tony finally realized Roy was a possession receiver, Roy didn't even think he was a possession receiver.

He was brought into a situation where he had a 10 game window (which is plenty of time) to produce and did nothing to show it.  Roy was the #1 receiver going into 2009 and that didn't work out.

And you keep bringing up his stats from the first six games, yea they were OK.  He had 5 TD's.  Yea, he struggled when the offense struggled but when it came back with Kitna where was he to be found?  He was getting outshined by an injured rookie.  Your argument is completely flawed and you're jumping around from excuse to excuse to try and defend this guy when as a Cowboy fan, you should be celebrating his release and still curse Jerry for trading for him.

You are correct, they are the same height, I should have phrased my argument differently. When I think of tall receivers I think of possession, go up and get it type guys. TO happens to be a freak of nature and his game is a polar opposite to Roy E. I'm sure you understand my point that Roy E needs the ball high and on time, whereas TO is more of a over the middle and speedy deep threat.

There is no point in arguing over a difference of opinion. You think Roy had a tough time because he is a bad receiver whereas I feel it was simply because Tony Romo couldn't get it together with him and didn't look his way often enough. Yes, I will criticize Roy for seemingly giving up on last season and not dedicating himself in the 08' offseason, but to sit here and act like he was some doormat is foolish.

He mad mistakes, he cost us a game, but he was a productive receiver. He was as productive as you can be as a 3rd or 4th option on an offense.

he won't be a #1 back.... Daniel Thomas will be #1 and get the bulk of the load.
Bush will get 10 carries, some screens, slot, and wide out plays. plus pr/kr.
which is exactly why i want him. i'd be happy if the price was right anyway. he isn't worth top tier dollar for the dolphins.

That's the rumor. I'm sure if they can't land Kolb that's where they'll go. Probably bring in Leinart too. What a QB competition that would be. Tarvaris, Whitehurst, and Leinart.

Contrary to reports, West Virginia RB Noel Devine has not signed with Atlanta. Devine still is a free agent looking for work.
